LOVE

Many ths happened over the wkends and Marpigz knowledge bank or more like personal perception of love has been elevated to another level

As mentioned, just fin watching 天国之树 and oh boy... wat a very depressing love story... albeit being so depressing, therez a tingling of happiness despite those streaming tears... as it is, the music in the backgrd is one of the OSTs for the movie... Marpig likes this drama so much... wanted to watch it again but am so afraid cos she noe she will be crying again... gosh...

(Biangz, really need to start tt Korean Kit!!!!!!! WTF!!!!!!!)

On Fridae, went out for dinner with a colleague after Marpigz hospital appt who is a capricorn in love with a cancerian in the same office

Don noe why, Marpig decided to give her tips on wat makes up a cancerian and realised, Marpig understands herself soooooo much tt itz scary

Anyw, didnt tell her everyth bcos the crab needs security and needs to protect itself afterall. From her, Marpig also get to noe juicy news ax the office... for eg, tt cancerian she likes really is like Marpig... this re-inforces wat pple think of cancerians; likes solidarity, travelling, fd, possessive, passionate, loyal, moody, a gd listener, understanding, patient, "weird", sensitive, etc

Got to also noe tt her exbf left her for a guy...

Got to noe tt one of our senior engrs who was divorced; his wife left with a lady...

Then, just now, when Marpig returned a miss call from Marpigz sis, she nearly scared Marpig out of her porky pig pie:

Marpigz sis: Do u noe wat happened?!
Marpig: Wat happened?
Marpigz sis: Smth happened and I felt so disgusted and angry!!
Marpig: *OMG* Wat happened? Dont tell me itz bout Daddy?!
Marpigz sis: No!!
Marpig: Huh... is it BIL?
Marpigz sis: No!!
Marpig: *whew~~* Chey, then wat is it bout? *lost interest*
Marpigz sis: Itz bout our cousin!!

The story goes tt one of our cousins, who hasnt been staying with his wife, got together with one of Marpigz sisz frens(!!) Marpigz sis happen to noe bcos of pics on Facebk and other pics her frens sent her on their mutual frens weddings. TT fren & Marpigz cousin were in those pics. Luckily tt lady wasnt Marpigz sisz fav frens.

And so, Marpigz sisz smells smth fishy and hence, after a little detective snooping ard, she found out bout tt undergrd relationship & the fact tt cousin changed his name to XXX instead of XXXXXX...

So, a 40 yr old man and a 30 yr old lady... committed adultery... and no1 noes (or pple choose to live in denial) and at the moment, only both Marpigz sis and Marpig noes the xact truth...

Quite a while ago, one of Marpigz close frens (now sort of drifted apart...) told Marpig while they were in the car tt she used to go out with a married man... but had since left him...

Marpig felt neutral and cant really be bothered to think of whoz right or wrong bcos therez not the point and every1 has their own story plus, love is smth tt cannot be xplained

Even Marpig admits she can be quite flirty (although if she fell in love, it will be 4ever...) and she enjoys being single and carefree. One can like and do anyth w/o having to answer to another person... Marpig am afraid to commit bcos no1 can love like Marpig does and Marpig doesnt want to get hurt... There is no such th as true love in the world anymore

Wat with all such real life stories, Marpig really thinks tt love in the real and modern world had bcome so much like a commodity where couples combine their wealth in order to buy more and bigger ths... they used love as a shield to protect themselves from the society and frens who stereotype single and avail pple as "unwanted", "left-overs", etc

Indeed, the traditional 愛 is written with a 心 while the simplified and modern 爱 is written without 心... does this fortell the trend tt modern love is no longer 海枯石烂 but more like 海市蜃楼?
