Evil Thoughts...

Marpig got to type smth, need to vent. Cant believe Dingko Nut and Marpig shares almost similar busy periods... Dingko Nut is bz cadding (Yah?) whilst Marpig am also bz cadding and writing equipment schedules and tons of specifications!! Gosh... Therez a total of:

a) 4 schematics (ventilation, heating, cooling, domestic water with solar hot hoter, domestic water without solar water)
b) 4 pipework drawings (4 levels & includes watever pipes there are in the health centre xcept drainage; tz done by Public Health colleagues)
c) 4 ductwork drawings (4 levels)
d) 56 specification sections
e) 13 equipment schedules

kao. So much more then electrical!! And, to draw and file up schedules, need calculations and the sizing of pipes and ducts... kao. Marpig still have 56 specifications to complete by tomorrow cos need to issue for tender... *bengz*

Work aside, Marpig just like to share sm silly thoughts...

1st, was taking sm public transports and saw a sign tt say, "give up this seat to a less able person"... cheeky Marpig was thinking, less able person... if therez no space, it will become lessable person... so does tt mean tt person is dispensable? If so, do we still need to give up the seat? Hmmm... evil thought evil thought... :P

Then was taking coach to & fro London these past 2 weeks and along the endless fields, suddenly there was white blotches litter all over the green fields. Guess wat, itz~ the~ COTTON BUDDIES~~~!!

Wat are cotton buddies? Well, they will add to the character in Marpigz future comic book!! Along with Maggie Mandy, the Snail Mail Post Office ran by snails, Elvis Parsley, etc... ooops!! *hushed*

So, any1 managed to guess wat are the cotton buddies?! Have always wanted to make bloggie into a more interactive one... hopefully sm of u will give sm gd answers!! :P hehehehehehehe

Next, is the question of "How to wind a person up" Marpig realised... a sure way (provided the person understand the sacarsm) is when a person asks a question, just say, "Which part of the sentence do u not understand?" Hmmm... quite bad actually... hmmm... evil thoughts evil thoughts...

Sexy Lady was sharing her idea on bgr and Marpig totally agrees!! (Great minds think alike!! :D) Itz most impt to find a person whom one can do many ths together. Bascially, like-minded pple. Whether or not getting attached or married is just smth of a bonus; smth who is willing to spend the rest of his/her life sharing yr happiness, burdens, illnesses, poverty, etc. Hmmm... much like the weddings vows!! hahahahahahaha

... ... shit. Deadline is 24hrs away and Marpig still have 56 specifications... luckily can copy and paste and alter the header and footer... :P Cant take it, gonna play NDS then kun. Shall wake up earlier and go office to biangz the last leg...

25th Dec

Itz Xmas!! Ah~~~ the plan was to go Disney Park!! Oh boy oh boy!! Cant rem wat Marpig had for bf but guess itz cup noodles with a can of tuna. Wanted to pop to the local supermarket to get sm bread for lunch (with tuna) but after walking to the supermarket, realised itz closed for the hols. Of cos!! Duh. This is not Singapore!! hahhahahaha Anyway, didnt really care whether Marpig got bread or not. Definitely will spend sm lollies (money) in Disney Park on sm sort of fd!! :P_

Hence, took the Metro to Marnee la Vallee!!
Gosh, therez already quite alot of pple braving the freezing cold and Qing!! Ah!! Itz Disneyland!! *xxxcited*The entrance to the park was laid with many "donated" tiles. Guess pple must have donated/bought the tiles to have their names on them (for pple to step on in the future) :P But the mosaic was nice afterall.Being Marpig, she shed her adult self and transformed into a wild child!! Running amok and wanting to try everyth!! BUT!! Looks whoz with Marpig... duh. So, Marpig felt "drenched"... ARGH!! Kao. NEVER EVER GO WITH SM1 BORING!! Shit. Must go Disneyland again with pple who are child-like too!!

1st th Marpig Qed up was fd!! choc filled bun in the shape of Mickey Mouse (abbre. MM hereafter)!! :D The fd came as a set of bread with a MM hot water tumbler with tea!! Oh boy!! Marpig didnt really care but just Qed!! TT guy? Very unxcited and emotionless and indifference. Wah kao. NEVER SEE SUCH A PERSON. Biangz. *&^%$#@&The bun wasnt fantastica but guess itz bcos itz Disneyland!! & packaging tt made it taste heavenly!! Marpig smile & ate it in earnest!!

Therez lotsa push carts selling fd littered around the entire park. Marpig still rem she bought a big huge tub of popcorn in Tokyo Disneyland where the container is in the shape of a chestnut in the Chip n Dale cartoon. Still kept it!! hahahahhaha But this time didnt buy tt popcorn since tt boring guy doesnt inspire Marpig to get it. :SAnyhow, itz really cold then... think bout -1 or 0 or 1? This is the xent of the cold...Itz really a nice place to go to for sm1 like Marpig who only wants to escape from reality and keep remembering the past... Marpig loves the Wind in the Willow cos of the great animation...Wanted to have nice dinner in the Toad Hall cos they sell a big hue portion of fish & chips!! But in the end, Marpig spent too much time playing with the different lands tt itz almost park closing time b4 she got her dinner of very dry roast chicken. But other peripherals in the meal were much better!!Saw these 2 little children walking... too bad they didnt have the adult sizes... Marpig may really buy one for herself!! :D

This is cool too!! Itz pink and starts with P (reminds one of piggies)As Marpig was saying, Disneyland is really a place full of fantasies and dreams of childhood!! Many of the sights reminds Marpig of fond memories... really makes Marpig happy :D *cant stop beaming*

Goofy in sleigh!!Geppetto & Pinocchio!!Jiminy Cricket!!And the Blue Faerie!! Still rem Marpigz mom did told Marpig this story and warned Marpig not to tell lies since nosie will get long!! Think Marpig did believe her... hahahahaha

Beauty & the Beast... the 1st story tt Marpig felt itz romantic... was also the one & only movie tt Marpigz mom brought Marpig (her & her only) to watch in a cinema... ... ... sigh... hence, Beauty & the Beast have a special meaning in Marpigz heart... was a touching movie too... was Marpigz best loved movie too... still rem Marpig always watch the LD (rem laser disc? :)) million of times... ... sigh... well, at least... Marpigz mom watched a movie with Marpig... ... :)

... Marpigz mom was a star!! (When u tell sm1 she/he is a star, itz a praise/compliment)Snow White & the 7 Drawfs. Was the worldz 1st full length animated feature & belongs to 1 of Walt Disney best-loved classics!! And of cos, the 7 little men are so cute!! Hmmm... think sm1 told Marpig during sec sch(?) tt her ears looks like Dopey... hmmm... cant rem who but dont really care/mind :)

Oh yes, other than managed to grab and took a photo with Eeyore (didnt put it up), Marpig also managed to give MM a peck on the cheek without Minnie Mousez knowledge... hiak hiak hiak!!(reduced in size to protect identity of Marpig!! :P duh.)

And, spot Marpig as well as her beautiful back & pose!! :DThere are actually quite alot of rides tt Marpig 12 take but kao. TT guy is really like a block of char tao & did not let Marpig felt xcited in taking those rides... :( So Marpig didnt get to take any rides :( boo hoo!!

Marpig missed Dumbo!!Marpig didnt get to take her fav Carousel as well!! (Fav cos Marpigz mom took it with Marpig and Marpigz sisz when Marpig was 4/5/6 yrs old(?)) All boils down to fond memories...Throughout the entire time in the park, Marpig only took less than 5 rides... and one of them is "Itz a Small World" Obviously, who will ever miss sitting in "Itz a Small World"?!Finally, night falls & Marpig am getting a bit...Itz also time to say bye bye to the castle...despite Marpig feeling 依 依 不 舍So, goodbye Walt Disney!! Thanks for the magical ths u have given us all!!

Korean Dramas

Once again, Marpig am gonna catch up on her bloggie entries in bulk.

Had just watch Toy Story 2 on the TV and now am re-watching Full House whilst typing. Am not really wstching but just had it on 1/2 screen for the backgrd sound.

Didnt quite rem Toy Story 2 and re-watching it was so fun!! Itz really funny with those toys and Mr Poo-ta-toe!! hahahahahaha

And, had just finished watching Sang Doo, Letz Go to School and boy!! Rain is sooooooo cool!! Ah~~~ ttz a very very gd show!! Reason being itz so romantic!! Marpigz been crying like almost every episode!! Oh man!! Why is it tt in real life, therez no such men?! Itz a bad th Marpig is 长 情, like the main characters. Too bad, pple who are 长 情 are all xtinct. Duh.

Gin, sorry Marpig hasnt started on the Korean kit... been really busy with don-noe-wat. Guess working kinda sux all energy from Marpig.

Had been watching Korean dramas since Nov/Dec and apparently fell in love with every1 and especially Sang Doo!! In fact, all!! hahahahahaha but Marpigz sis had been shoving tons of new TVBs to Marpig (including wat PS was watching whilst she was in London) :D Brilliant!! Bcos Marpigz sis will be going home next month... so most probably wont be going to London in the next few months' time. But, have already had Cambridge and Manchester planned for April which is gd. Will be planning a trip to Penzance/Mouse Hole/Lands's End when the weather is better no gusty winds and floods) or even to Scotland, Edinburgh. Have always wanted to travel ard with PS since she did mentioned she also wanted to travel to other parts of the UK but guess the chances will be pretty slim... oh well...

Wkends are still freakingly cold. Was showering hailstones for the past 2 daes and itz gonna be -2 at night todae and itz forecasted to be snowing tomorrow!! Kao. And itz suppose to be Spring!! (Marpigz foot!!)

Saw a few cherry bossoms trees blooming ax the country though... who said one can only see cherry bossoms in Japan? Just tt the number of such trees together is 102% rare unlike in Japan. Plus, therez no chance of sitting under cherry bossom trees and enjoying tea and sushi... hmmm... one of these daes, Marpig will 12 xperience tt!! Ah~~~ will be like comic, sitting under the cherry bossoms, enjoying the spring time with mocha and sushi... :)

Meanwhile, Marpig realised she hasnt started on her work (she MUST) and she hasnt continued with her bloggie entries on her dec trip as well as the trip home in Feb!! TTz not fab!! So, without further ado (wat a cliche phrase tt is!!), letz continue with 25th Dec!! (Marpig stopped at 24th Dec in the previous bloggie entry)

Oh, b4 Marpig proceed to 25th Decz bloggie entry... itz snowing the entire dae today... kao. very very very cold!! Hey!! Itz March and itz snowing?! Oh man. Brrrrrrrrrrr~~~~~~~~~ The chin is dropping, the head is frozen, the ears are cracking and so is Marpig poor numbed nose and cheeks... :(

The Three Trees (33)

Itz Easter Sunday todae and as usual, Marpig went to church with Marpigz sis. Todae, Marpigz sis gave the readings again. And as always, Marpigz sis will ask Marpig how to pronounce certain names/words in the readings... duh. Marpigz not very gd either but still managed to help quite a bit :P

Anyway, Marpig always like to listen to Homily as given by the fathers here (didnt rem a single one given by the fathers in Singapore since Marpig don go to the church) and itz always so interesting!! The way they tried to put ax certain ideas via stories. Itz not brain-washing but similar to Enid Blyton? A lesson to be learnt from every story :) Herez the one todae and itz really cute!!

There was once, 3 young trees on top of a mountain. They were all thinking of wat they want to become when they grow up.

The 1st tree looked into the sky and saw the shining stars and thought bout the beautiful diamonds and treasures and thought to itself, "when i grow up, i want to become a treasure chest to hold all the beautiful and precious treasures in the world"

The 2nd tree looked down and saw the great ocean and thought to itself, "when i grow up, i want to be the strongest ship fit for kings to sail the great ocean"

The 3rd tree looked down the mountain and saw in the market, people working hard with horses pushing carts etc. It sigh and thought to itself, "i hope to remain on this mountain and grow really tall so tt i could point to God in the heavens"

Many many years passed and all 3 trees grew up. One fine day, 3 wood cutters came to the mountain. 1 wood cutter saw the 1st tree and said, "this tree is beautiful, i could use it" and with a "swoop" came down his axe and cut the 1st tree down.

The next wood cutter saw the 2nd tree and said, "this tree is strong, i could use it" and with a "swoop" came down his axe and cut the 2nd tree down.

The 3rd tree saw the last wood cutter and itz heart sank. The last wood cutter said, "it doesnt matter to me how gd a tree is, i will just use it" and with a "swoop" of his axe, came down the 3rd tree.

And so, the 1st tree was sent to the 1st wood cutter's workshop. But instead of a treasure chest, the wood cutter made it into a trough for the animals.

The 2nd tree was really happy when the next wood cutter sent it to the shipyard. However, it was not made into a big ship. Instead, it was made into a small fishing boat. So small that it cannot brave the tough winds and waves and could only be put in a lake.

The last wood cutter then put the 3rd tree in itz storage of timber, waiting for a time when timber are needed.

Years past and on Xmas, a father took the trough which was crafted from the 1st tree and used it as a cradle for his newborn child. Little did the 1st tree noe, he was holding the most precious treasure in the world.

As for the 2nd tree which was made into a small fishing boat, a few men used it to sail ax the sea one evening. Suddenly, the sea became rough and the men and the boat were caught in a terrible storm. Then, one of the men woke and stood up, saying, "Peace, be still" and the wind ceased and the sea calmed. The 2nd tree was happy because this man made it brave the winds and waves to sail ax the sea.

The 3rd tree was still stored in the lumber store when angry men came and took it. The angry men then spat at and stripped a man naked and then nailed him on the 3rd tree. For 3 daes and nights, the man nailed onto the 3rd tree was bleeding b4 He gave up His last breathe and surrender His spirit.

Since then on, whenever every1 saw the 3rd tree, pple will think of God.

Ah~~~ Marpig might not have retold the story as interesting as the father had said it todae but the gist of it all are present. Quite an interesting story to rem actually... hahahahaha

Funny Ths

Ah~~~ itz the Easter hols and bunnies are everywhere!! Therez lotsa eggies and choc and wat-have-u. Cant rem wat Easter is celebrating but after going to the Easter Day mass with Marpigz sis, Marpig finally recall watz itz celebrating!! Good Friday is when Jesus was crucified on the x.

Hence, the mass was pretty lengthy as it is a replay of tt ancient time when Jesus was betrayed by Judas, then nailed to the x. Then, the father will walk into the church again with Jesus on the x and set it in the middle of the alter where every1 will kneel down and kiss His feet. Afterwhich, all of us walked out of the church in solemn silent.

Wow... this is the 2nd time or 3rd time Marpig went to the Easter mass with Marpigz sis. Cant believe 3yrs in the UK just gone by like tt!! Everyth still seems like yesterday despite just a little bit distance now... ...

Next yr, Marpig must rem to plan travel trips during March (Easter period) since itz a very long weekend!! Imagine, friday, sat, sun and mon!! A full week will get Marpig to at least Amsterjam and Rotterdam or just Greece (warmer at bout 20+ deg). Guess ttz wat Marpig will do!! Greece next Easter!!

So, this Easter, Marpig thought she will be wasting away working back in Cosy Barn 3. Marpigz sis kept asking whether Marpig 12 go London again (itz her way of askking Marpig to go indirectly :)) But Marpig was reluctant since:

1) She has been taking alot of time off to go London the wk b4 (which Marpig enjoyed herself!!)
2) She needs to finish her work for deadline by 28th March!!
3) Nth to do in London

So Marpig told Marpigz sis tt if therez nth to do, no pt going to London. And, she said all could play badminton!! :D Oh boy!! Marpig did mentioned she has always wanted to play badminton with Marpigz sis isnt it?! Bcos Marpigz sis once won a badminton trophy (cant rem wat position) whilst she was in Ngee Ann poly. Marpig thought she is really gd!! So Marpig set off earlier from work again (cant do tt no more!!) for London!!

On Friday morning, bout 9am, Marpigz sis and BIL and Marpig went to play badminton at the leisure centre. WOW. Wat a joke!! OMG!! hahahahahha have any1 of u tried looking 4wrd to/yearning for smth for many many yrs but once u got it but realised itz not wat u thought it would be?! hahahahahah ttz wat Marpig felt!! Not disappointment but more like a funny feeling and a relief (cos finally fulfilled a long term dream)

Marpigz sis badminton skill is not as gd as Marpigz!! hahahahahahahaha more or less like Marpigz non-badminton frensz skill!! hahahahahaha But Marpigz BIL is gd!! Hmmm is it bcos itz a guyz th? Nonetheless, it was a really really great and fun-filled hour long badminton session!! hhahahahahahaha Still rem those times when Marpig played badminton with Marpigz "sis" in sec sch with Gin @ her momz club. Shez 1 of those few tt Marpig looks 4wrd to play badminton with (cos got challenge mah :P)

Come to think bout it... interesting ths tt Marpig have tried with Marpigz sis are badminton and going to Onsen together, fully naked!! hahaahahahaha So memorable!! Nope, and itz not the cellulite ttz memorable!!

Despite Marpig coming to London for the long wkend... she brought with her sm work... :S

Marpig have no more hols... need to wait till Marpigz work gets done and then a new financial yr. Need to really catch up on reports and reports and more reports!! Oh yes!! Bloggie entries too!!

Oh ya, sm1 mentioned why there are giam cai and loti but no char... the loti is beng hang liao, so take it as thought itz char loti lor!! hahahahahahaha Otherwise, Marpig must really stir-fry them meh?! Oh man!! ... ... may be it will be nice... ... *thinking hard*

To give more of a pictorial flavour to the entries, here are the sights around & at Disneyland Studios. Just right in front of the Studios, therez a xmas market selling really tempting stuff!! Sweet shop!! Marpig don have a sweet tooth but the sweets looks so pretty!! could just buy & keep them!! :D)

OMG!! Cheese, potatoes & ham!! *slurp*

Was almost dusk (though itz only 2ish pm) when Marpig go in to the Studios...

As it was really really cold in Paris then, the ponds were all frozen and the duckies were walking on the ponds!! haw haw haw!! (the duckies were as gd as Marpig in terms of ice skating... :P)Spoiler no. 2. Right, spoiler no. 1 was in previous entry where he didnt quite manage to get Marpigz back picture among the trees. "Spoiler" as in really spoiling smth, not movies spoilers where pple looked 4wrd to. Above photo is spoiler no. 2. Marpig wanted to get sm artistic reflection of herself but he was in the way. Gosh!! And he didnt noe it!! OMG!! Worse, he thought Marpig wants to take him as well... kao. *bengz*Marpig handed the picture to Donald Duck.

Donald Duck: *scratching head* (speaking also to the little boy) Quack!! Hez really in the way!!

Goofy: Dont be sad!! We'll play u a xmas song!!

Therez also the Disney Village. Noth much but more like a big park with lotsa over-priced rests & tons of Disney memoriabia to burst any un-prepared budget travellers. Yup. Marpig almost burst her budget!! Oh boy.

One of the magics of Disneyland is tt pple cant resist buying their stuffs!! Even sm1 like Marpig cant resist!! Bought a NBC mug, tweat sweater, tins of biscuits, salt & pepper holders, etc. Oh man!! If Marpig has got more monay, she will even get the porcelin NBC scupltures!! ARGH!! NVM. Managed to wake up after spree. :POnly to realise on the 1st dae, Marpig burst her budget already!! Yeah!! How great it is!!

Argh~~~ even b4 Marpig starts her journey into the Studios, she already told herself, she will go Disneyland again!! Gosh. Can see how terrible it was.

Anyh, bcos Marpig was with a very drenching person, she didnt get to 102% release the childlike her within... :(

Itz not really a hotel but a ride... smth like the Abyss where itz free fall... in dark... Then, the only xciting ride tt Marpig took on xmas eve was...

Oh man. Marpig wishes Marpig may, Marpig wishes Marpig might, have the wish Marpig wishes tonight... *whispers* To go Disneylands again but definitely not with him ever ever ever again OR any boring pple.

As night engulfed the Studios and itz closing, Marpig am in search for nice xmas eve dinner. Guess wat, therez no rests opened nor supermarkets or cafes tt are in operation. However, therez a chinese rest just nearby the hotel and guess wat Marpig had for 2007 xmas eve dinner?! A plate of kangkong and Singapore Fried Noodles (French-style) Kao. So memorable.
