也许你有送，但可能送错花， 甚至是对象！
也有可能你想送，但又不能。。。
是不是因为大家都还很保守，所以象送花，牵手和拥抱这种 gestures，在大家的眼里是一种很暧昧的举动呢？
想想，Marpig 有送过花给人(也收过花哦！)。当然都是很诚心诚意送给她喜欢的人啦！(谁不是呀？！靠！)
记得第一次，一给就给了好几个。不记得她们的反应了，但应该都开心。有几个还不好意思 lei！
不记得有没有第二次。。。因该有吧。。。*努力的想*应该还 ok 的 :P
虽然真的不太记得(有没有)第三第四次，但有一次真的好难忘。。。因为被拒绝了。。。(怎么可能拒绝 Marpig？！这是不对的！！)
。。。那天，Marpig 抱着兴奋和开心的心情，偷偷买了一朵花，想给她一个美丽的惊喜。没想到她居然不领情，又没接受，还说Marpig浪费钱。。。Marpig 当时真的是心如刀割，很伤心的哭了。。。(但事后当然明白她的意思 :))
那次之后，Marpig 就好像再也没送花给人了。。。直到那一天的一朵红玫瑰和一句来得太迟的“我爱妳”。。。 。。。
除了送花，大家也好像觉得牵手是一个很暧昧的行为。无可否认，牵手的却有点暧昧。但除了情侣，家人，朋友，甚至是陌生人，也可以牵彼此的手嘛！！Marpig 就跟以上这四种人牵过手！！
跟情人牵手，会有点紧张，不知道要怎么牵才是最好的技术！！又怕对方会被手心的汗给吓跑！！心会小鹿乱撞，心花怒放。不过一旦牵了，就放不了！！总之感觉超甜蜜好不好！！
跟家人牵手，开始会怪怪的，不习惯(长大后啦)。可能是应为传统的家庭吧。。。但一次生，两次熟。。。真的。。。因该跟家人多牵手，因为你真的可以感受到对方对你的那份爱。尤其是因为我们很少对家人说出我们有多么的爱和珍惜他们。。。
长大后，跟老豆牵手是他主动的。第一次和接下来都是过马路的时候。哈哈哈！！
长大后，跟老姐牵手(or more like 握手) 是在 mass 的时候，当大家 offer each otherz peace。但真的感觉到那诚心的关怀哦！！*脸红*
。。。长大后，Marpig 很少跟她牵手。。。除了小时候，最后能记得的那两次。。。
一次是陪她到医院做化学治疗的时候。Marpig 牵着她那瘦 的只剩皮和骨的手。。。而第二次是她很安详的躺着，再也不醒来的时候。。。
跟朋友牵手。。。hmmm 比较少。但通常都是跟 super close 的朋友或当有 super sale 的时候 :P
跟陌生人牵手？就是老人院的那些公公婆婆啰~~ :) 你知不知道，其实他们很喜欢有人牵着他们的手哦！！因为对他们来说，那是关心，照顾，爱心，接受，etc etc 的意思。:)
至于拥抱，就没那么暧昧(吧？) Marpig 常常都抱人和亲亲他们的 cheek 哦！！Hmmm。。。好像记得 Mr Calendar 有叫 Marpig demonstrates 给他看那是怎么样的。。。 :P
拥抱其实可以好浪漫和激情然后就发展成这个，那个，很多个拥抱后可能会做的事 :P
。。。而 Marpig 拥抱她的时候是很久的事了~~记得每次 Marpig 的头都会 rests 在她的肚子上，感觉好软，好温暖哦~~ :)
Anyw, 真的。。。我们应该多牵手，送花(不一定啦) 和拥抱我们爱和重视的人。将语言无法传达的关怀，亲情，友谊，爱心，安慰，接受，etc， 以简单，不费吹灰之力，环保又免费的举动来表达！！

Doggies & JG
好狗不挡路, 但偏偏挡了两次!!
Dont misunderstand; Marpig is an animal lover. From the big big bear, to the gluttony piggies and the teeny weeny ants. Even the slimey snails!! :D However, come to think of it and to date, Marpig got herself into trouble bcos of doggies!!
Marpig was never afraid of doggies until she was bitten once (hence, twice shy!!) on the wrist by a retired police German Shepard. It all happened when she was trying to pull the patrol boat (volunteering then) onto shore. The xxxcited doggie liked the sea and sorta got in the way of the mooring boat. Hence, Marpig pulled itz collar to get it out of the way but heu!! He turned itz head almost 180 deg and bit Marpigz wrist!!
TT xcruciating pain!! omg!! (totally 佩服 those pple who had the courage to 割脉自杀!!) Anyw, Marpig am feeling squeamish even just thinking bout tt bite on the wrist!! *软*
TT was the 1st trouble Marpig had when trying to be kind
Then, itz was last week stuntwoman fall from Foldie cos she wanna avoid a doggie which suddenly x the path

This is the UK
"这种感觉真好, 已经很久没有这样"!!
Itz been a long time since shez injured bcos she keeps reminding herself to be less accident prone and specially since shez staying overseas. However, think shez still a merry-gungho person and often unconsciously do silly ths :P
U must be thinking why does Marpig still has the mood to take photos despite being injured but as Marpig told JM, this is the 精神 of an enthusiastic blogger!!
And so, the next dae after the fall, Marpig discovered in the morning tt the wound was still bleeding. Being in the UK, she got to call to book an appt to see a GP, hopefully sm1 would be able to dress Marpigz wound there. Guess wat the GP said to Marpig? She suggested Marpig could either go to a pharmist to get sm antiseptic cream and dressing and do the dressing herself or if she wants a nurse to do it, Marpig would have to call and book an appt!! Kao!!
Anyw, Marpig told her she wanted to get sm Xrays done to ensure no bones are cracked or broken which she did and Marpig went (with the open wound)
After the xray, Marpig asked the radiologist where Marpig could get sm professional help to dress the wound and omg!! She said need to walk all the way to the end of the hospital site to the Minor Injury Unit (MIU) *晕*
Fine. Since Marpig had came this far, she might as well bite on. And so she walked to the MIU and with "the wound looks superficial", the nurse just sent Marpig on her way home!!
OK!! And here is Marpig paying National Insurance (those ang moh tax to pay for pple who dont work) for nth!! (*&^%$#$^&!!
In fact, shared this xperience to the taxi driver who drove Marpig to the hospital and he shared the same sentiments and even shared more ugly stories bout the healthcare in the UK
Watever, herez how the damage looked like now:
Gash is deep and knee is like a super bun. The impact was so great tt the entire patch has no feeling... think the feeling will come back once the nerves recover...
The wound is clean however it just looks red... hmmm... and the bruise!! WOW!! COOL!! :P
Chest and arms are aching from the skid too. Felt like Marpig had just done an xtreme xercise regime. Felt gd actually!! Like Marpig am slimmer now!! :P hahhahahaha duh.
In the end, Marpig am her own doc. She popped into a pharmacy, showed her wound to the lady over the counter whose appalled at the state of the wound and they started choosing which dressing is the best size. Herez wat Marpig bought:
Singaporeans often complain healthcare is xpensive and itz better to die than to get seriously ill (like cancer, etc) but itz the same here in the UK. Can be worse cos hospitals here do make quite abit of (grave) mistakes!!
Oh well, 家家有本难念的经!! The moon is the same everywhere!!

说时慢, 那时快!!
*thinking in pain* The only time Marpig could rem ever using the phrase, "说时慢, 那时快" was way back in sec sch 作文...
Had just got back from a bad but super stuntman fall off Foldie. Cant help but think of Humpty Dumpty...
Terrain: Rocky with sand, in a park
Weather: Rained but road has dried bcos of low humidity
Time: 5 - 7pm
Cause: To avoid hitting a big dog (dont noe wat breed, could be a x btw bulldog and Labrador?!) which suddenly decides to x the path while walking with the owner, thank u very much
Description of fall: Cycling fast, hard braking, tyres skidded on the rocky and sandy path, Foldie swerved to the right, Marpig had to ditch Foldie (but cant rem whether Marpig jumped or just fall with Foldie down, like the stuntmen), Marpig landed in "吃狗屎" position with right knee touching ground 1st and skidded along the ground for bout 0.5 - 0.75 m
Luckily face was up but the chest and both palms skidded along with whole body
"Skidded chest". So, the sensual boobs have another use... :P
Elbow with cuts sustained while skidding on the ground
Bleeding knee with bruise underneath... Luckily Marpig wore long track pants but stil cant scape the bloody fate
Bad th bout the UK are:
1) No polyclinic or 24-GP. Marpig did pop into a GP hoping at least sm1 would dress her wounds but receptionist turned Marpig down and said itz not a walk-in (1 needs to book an appt in the morn to be able to see a doc on the same dae. Kao!!) and asked Marpig to go hospital cos GP is closed anyw. Bengz!!
2) No such th as 7-11 or pharmacies or in fact, any shops tt stil opens at 5pm. All stores closed at the same time u finished work, how CONVENIENT. Only shops tt opens late into the night are pubs, rests and supermarkets (but itz 30mins walk to get there!!)
And so, therez nth Marpig could do but shower, wash and scrub the wound (need to get any debris out) Itz so painful yet so numb (when Marpig poked it) tt shez screaming and laughing at the same time... ya noe, when it really hurts, one just goes mad (same th happened when Marpig sprained her ankle during a hockey match in sec sch)
With no cotton gauze or any 红/蓝药水 but plasters of various sizes, Marpig could only let the cleaned wound continue to bleed and settle down by itself b4 slapping on the biggest plaster she could find...
Reactions of Passers-by: The owner of the dog must be amused tt Marpig hurt herself and not her dog :S Anyw, she gave Marpig sm anti-bacteria gel to splash onto the wound (although Marpig noe itz wrong she still did it) while a kind jogger called "Eno" (?) helped Marpig and Foldie onto their feet, make sure Marpig am well b4 she continue her jogging regime *smiles*
Lessons Learnt: No more hard braking at high speed, specially on rocky and sandy paths. Invest in a medical kit just like investing in insurance. 正所谓, 养兵千日, 用在一时!!
Going to the GP tomorrow so tt he/she can refer Marpig to hospital for an xray to check if the bones are a-ok...

Dragon Boat with no 肉粽
JM just commented tt Marpig is like 小花 who loves giving nicks to ths and pple which is true. But hey, nicks = affection for ths and pple!! :D
Anyw, Marpig also likes giving nicks to festivals such as the Lantern/Mooncake Festival = 月饼节 and 端午节 = 粽子节. Just so tt Marpig noes wat food to eat/look out for during those times :D___ hahahahaha Of cos not la!! Itz really the affection for the festivals (& food :P)
There was a time when Marpig bought a super delicious 月饼 with 4 yokes (and ttz lush!!) to let colleagues try and the ang mohs 1st reaction was tt they cannot 接受 a food ttz both sweet and savoury at the same time. They are also wary of the combination consisting of lotus paste and egg yokes in a flour pasty. To them, itz just wrong!! hahahahaha Sm of them ate it and were ok (but they didnt go for a 2nd pcs) while 1 of the Scottish guys spat it out!! Wat a total WASTE!!
Anyw, there wasnt 粽子节 in the UK but Marpig still got the opportunity to participate in a Dragon Boatz race (for charity) under the companyz name tog with colleagues
The charity is the Arthritis Foundation and many companies and institutions like the RSPCC took part in the event held on a Sundae. Each team had their own fancy dress code and Marpigz company were called the HL (companyz name in abbrev.) Jalapeños!! But not every1 dressed like a Jalapeño; therez only a total of 3 Jalapeños while the rest donned on a Mexican sombrero and moustache!!
Therez several heats leading to quarter finals and finals but Marpigz company was eventually placed 16 out of 40. Not too bad considering itz really for fun, charity and BBQ by the riverside!! :P
As mentioned, each team had their own fancy dress code and this team particularly caught Marpigz attention!!
Blokes with beer bellies dressed as nuns!! :D

感情泛滥
Never thought Marpig would be doing this again; typing bloggie entries offline. The last time Marpig did this was when her NEC showed itz "blue screen of death" This time was bcos Marpigz internet allowance was used up (too many dls & Utubing) and to avoid having to pay for the hefty penalty for even xceeding 1kb (15 quid, fined once b4!!) Marpig hasnt been online @ home for more than a week. Ho hum, itz a gd time to see how dependent on internet Marpig can be and ha!! She wasnt (really)!! :P
Anyw, Marpig realised/learnt/see smth more clearly recently. Having worked as a consultant for a gd 4 yrs now, Marpig realised decorum, composure and professionalism are impt BUT contacts and relations are essential too
Pple always say 好事不出门, 坏事传千里. TTz very true. 人在江湖, every1 seems to noe every1; manufacturers, contractors, clients and other consultants. And for biz opportunities, all of us will chat with one another to find out bout latest market conditions or potential projects. Socialising in such a context is interesting and is in itself, "一门手艺"
Similarly, contacts, relations and 人际关系 in our daily lives are impt too. In fact, Marpig felt tt it can be quite 奇妙
For e.g., Marpig sisz frenz sis, was actually Marpigz senior in sec sch and all were from the same sec sch!! AND, Marpigz sis has recently saw Marpig on FB; cos sm1 uploaded Marpigz sec 4 class grad pic on FB!! Hahahaha She was shocked at 1st to see "herself" with tt super 土 hairstyle and also the polo tee which was buttoned up all the way (yeah yeah, Marpig am very "乖" umk!!) but on a closer look, she realised ttz Marpig in sec 4!! hahahahaha Really, everyth seems to be linked!!
In addition, 时隔十几年, Marpigz sis and Marpig got to noe from her frenz sis tt the disciplinary mistress back in sec sch is very ill with brain tumour. Sigh... really quite concerned and both of them had since sent her a card. Will also go visit her when they are back in late Aug. Surprised tt both Marpigz sis and Marpig are so passionate? Well, they have always been like tt and if u do feel surprised, it might just mean tt u are not!!
The dm was one of those misunderstood teachers; bhind her fierce and 冷酷 face, she was a gd maths teacher and caring dm. Marpig means, who would want to 做丑脸 to teach students to be prim and proper and to receive no appreciation at all?
Maybe bcos Marpig was 1 of those "prim & proper" students, ttz y she has no qualms bout the dm. In fact, she looks so kind and frenly when she smiles :) (Marpig took a grad pic with her back in 1997)
Now tt shez old and frail + with cancer, Marpig really felt sorry for her... why is it tt gd pple always suffer and die early?! WHY?! Can any religion tell Marpig why?!
Anyw, told a few sec sch frens and the reactions were disappointing. Sigh... of cos, Marpig dont xpect every1 to be like her and sm others who are concerned bout pple who had once xed their lifez paths but still, has the world bcome more and more selfish, unsympathetic and materialistic?
The world needs more love and peace and NOT hatred and selfishness!! *protest protest*
Itz doesnt take a few mins or even any pennies to spare a thought for others and to bring a smile to their face. So why not go ahead and make a point to do tt?!
Thinking of the dm, Marpig rems bout not recording a video of Marpigz mom... now she cant rem her voice nor have a "moving" her to watch... sigh... which is y shez been taking videos of family/frens much to their amusement/annoyance :P
Ah~~ Marpig am still feeding on the intangible memories & idealistic beliefs!!

Pple always say 好事不出门, 坏事传千里. TTz very true. 人在江湖, every1 seems to noe every1; manufacturers, contractors, clients and other consultants. And for biz opportunities, all of us will chat with one another to find out bout latest market conditions or potential projects. Socialising in such a context is interesting and is in itself, "一门手艺"
Similarly, contacts, relations and 人际关系 in our daily lives are impt too. In fact, Marpig felt tt it can be quite 奇妙
For e.g., Marpig sisz frenz sis, was actually Marpigz senior in sec sch and all were from the same sec sch!! AND, Marpigz sis has recently saw Marpig on FB; cos sm1 uploaded Marpigz sec 4 class grad pic on FB!! Hahahaha She was shocked at 1st to see "herself" with tt super 土 hairstyle and also the polo tee which was buttoned up all the way (yeah yeah, Marpig am very "乖" umk!!) but on a closer look, she realised ttz Marpig in sec 4!! hahahahaha Really, everyth seems to be linked!!
In addition, 时隔十几年, Marpigz sis and Marpig got to noe from her frenz sis tt the disciplinary mistress back in sec sch is very ill with brain tumour. Sigh... really quite concerned and both of them had since sent her a card. Will also go visit her when they are back in late Aug. Surprised tt both Marpigz sis and Marpig are so passionate? Well, they have always been like tt and if u do feel surprised, it might just mean tt u are not!!
The dm was one of those misunderstood teachers; bhind her fierce and 冷酷 face, she was a gd maths teacher and caring dm. Marpig means, who would want to 做丑脸 to teach students to be prim and proper and to receive no appreciation at all?
Maybe bcos Marpig was 1 of those "prim & proper" students, ttz y she has no qualms bout the dm. In fact, she looks so kind and frenly when she smiles :) (Marpig took a grad pic with her back in 1997)
Now tt shez old and frail + with cancer, Marpig really felt sorry for her... why is it tt gd pple always suffer and die early?! WHY?! Can any religion tell Marpig why?!
Anyw, told a few sec sch frens and the reactions were disappointing. Sigh... of cos, Marpig dont xpect every1 to be like her and sm others who are concerned bout pple who had once xed their lifez paths but still, has the world bcome more and more selfish, unsympathetic and materialistic?
The world needs more love and peace and NOT hatred and selfishness!! *protest protest*
Itz doesnt take a few mins or even any pennies to spare a thought for others and to bring a smile to their face. So why not go ahead and make a point to do tt?!
Thinking of the dm, Marpig rems bout not recording a video of Marpigz mom... now she cant rem her voice nor have a "moving" her to watch... sigh... which is y shez been taking videos of family/frens much to their amusement/annoyance :P
Ah~~ Marpig am still feeding on the intangible memories & idealistic beliefs!!
