Of Socks & Garland

Wonder why garlands are called garlands? Any1 watched the 1939 version of The Wizard of Oz? (ttz Marpigz fav!! Even Marpigz mom love it :)) The beautiful gal who played Dorothy is Judy Garland.

In the popular movie, she wore long socks and so, those are named after her!! :D

(btw, love tt song sang by her in the movie, "Over the Rainbow")

Thanks to Beenie, Marpig received 7 pairs of socks including a garland!! Wat a gift!! Some suggestion as to when Marpig shall wear the garland? :P

Abit unprotected... writing this bloggie... itz like writing a public diary (duh, ttz wat bloggies are referred to anyway!!) for all to see...

Maybe one of the worst shortcomings for human beings is tt we cant read each otherz minds... even the plants and animals express their feelings much better than us!! (Marpig believes plants have a "heart" and noe bout their surroundings... read 艳阳少女 by 北条司)

Then we will misunderstand one another, we will be so wary of pple around us, we will have to wear a mask, we will have to tell lies (white or black), etc

Worse, we are creatures of 面子, ttz y we 打是疼骂是爱... hahahahhahaha then will have more hurt and misunderstandings... oh well...

Putting feelings into words is tough... but putting experience into words can be relatively easier... at least... with words tt describe, pple will be able to digest onez feelings better and slower... (the brain is lousy in response to feelings in some situations) and the brain can visualise (hopefully :P)

Didnt expect bloggie to reveal so much of Marpigz life, experience, feelings, etc... itz so naked!!

Really am sooooooo harpy receiving it!! Am touched, am too harpy, am too xxxcited, am lost for words, am grateful, am everyth!!

Thank you for being Marpigz gd frens all these yrs... *感动* going thru life with all of u makes Marpig feels so fortunate even in the most unfortunate times... :)

Suddenly... *looking out of window* the world is so big... we have the planets and stars and galaxies, we have the continents, we have the countries, we have the provinces, the towns, the difference races of pple... and then we have a "pimple" (aka Singapore, quoting our neighbour-country-u-noe-who). Then we also have the fishes, the animals, the ants, the bacteria, the virus...

To meet our frens amidst the vastness and diversity is truly amazing... wat if Marpig is born an Indian in India? Wat if Marpig has been an ant? Will Marpig ever crossed paths with all of u? (Or Marpig will have been squashed by one of u!! hahahhaah)

Life is really amazing but meeting and knowing and keeping frens are equally amazing...

苦瓜

Pple said tt the type of food in a country or the crusines or even the way food is prepared tell alot bout the country and her pple... Marpig totally agrees!!

Like Korea have their Kimchi (for winter and storage purposes), the Japanese have sushi (the ancient Japanese arent gd with cooking with fire), the chinese love their rice and noodles and 馒头 (need energy to work in the fields), etc etc etc (Marpigz knowledge is not tt 深远 yet!! :P)

Marpigz family and relatives are really gd cooks... like Marpigz godmother and mother, uncle, aunties, cousin, sis (expert in using Prima *winked at PS* & her chicken rice is wicked!!) and even dad!! (expert in Japanese "don" dishes)

Marpig is ok... noe abit here and there... :D but still got tons to learn and experiement!! (Marpigz Japanese hotpot is wicked but still improving and experimenting!!)

Hmm... some pple only like to eat and not cook... maybe cos itz too much of a hassle... which is true!! Cos to cook, need to plan wat to buy, wat pple like to eat, age of pple eating (cos older pple tend to have weaker sense of taste), wat combi of ingredients are best, health of pple eating, presentation, etc... so many things!! Plus, washing up is smth pple even Marpig dread... :P

Marpig loves cooking... don noe why... maybe itz a hobby to Marpig... plus, we don have to wreak our brains like we do when we study!! Also, itz kinda destressful and enjoyable thing to do, cooking for others, seeing their happy faces when eating wat u cooked for them...

Marpigz mom loved watching Marpig eats her cooking... ttz the kind of love ba... to make a loved one happy itz so easy... :)

Coming to the title of this bloggie entry... why 苦瓜 out of so many dishes?

Sm pple said 苦瓜 is a 半世瓜; meaning, u dislike it 1/2 yr life and love it during the other 1/2 of yr life... Marpig understands and agreeds with it...

Used to hate 苦瓜... never eat any at all when young. Felt tt itz so bitter!! Just a lick and Marpig will go rolling!!

But... don noe since when... Marpig love 苦瓜... order it for 菜饭, even buy and cooks it and think of ways to master cooking delicious 苦瓜!! Also missed it when Marpig is in London!! hahahaha (苦瓜 here are selling like gold!!) think itz when Marpigz mom asked Marpig to try and after she passed away...

Itz really strange... the time when Marpig accepted 苦瓜, Marpig actually tot itz sweet!! :) Is it true tt when one realises how bitter life can be then he/she will love 苦瓜? Guess itz true for some and not so for others...

For one thing, all mothers, fathers and the elderly love 苦瓜... said itz sweet lah, said itz gd for health lah and wat have u to convince the young pple tt 苦瓜 is actually fantastic... :)

Sigh... maybe now pple has got too much to eat, too much to choose, too many desires to pursue tt they no longer think like wat the old pple (& Marpig) thinks?

Must learn not to take life as a breeze...

Frens found jobs

Frens graduating and no more frens in NUS/NTU liao
Marpig completing MSc
Frens gave birth
etc etc etc...

WORST of all... Marpigz Chinatown Hawker Centre gonna close down on 1st July for renovation... 1.5 yrs!! *CRYING*

人一生最不应该讲的话
不是谎言
不是别人的是非
也不是亲朋戚友的不是
而是气话（虽然听起来已经有点儿孩子气了！）

当然，谎言，是非和别人的不是也不应该讲
可是，以上的三种我们一定多多少少都会犯
气话也不例外

但为什么气话是最不应该讲的呢？

谎言，可以是好的，可以是坏的
可以是帮人的，可以是害人的
谎言是要事先想好和有技巧才讲得好

是非不一定是完全坏的
“是非”可以是“是“=“真的”
或
“非”=“假的”

如果它是真的，我们可以提访某个人来保护自己和以免自己受伤害
如果它是假的，没办法，我们一定会误会别人
而且还可能远离那个可能是一个好人的人
这样的话，不但对别人不公平，对自己没机会多认识一个朋友也是一种可惜

虽说“知人知面不知心”
但也不可以没搞清楚整个状况，没好好认识和了解那个人，而胡乱相信是非
（更别说让自己变成一个是非精啦！）

亲朋戚友的不是和是非差不多
不同的是，亲朋戚友的不是，自己人和好友们知道就好
别什么阿猫阿狗都给它唱

大家也知道家族恩怨是个“剪不断，理还乱”的烦恼丝
唯有微笑和感叹“家家有本难念的经”才是最理想的回应

来到最不应该讲的话：气话

其实，要知道为什么气话是最不应该讲的话很简单
只要知道，经历和体会到人生最痛苦，最难忘，最遗憾和后悔莫及的事
那么，从中得到的那种领悟就是答案。

从前的事，开心或不开心，很可惜，已经过去了。我们只能永远的回味。。。

开心的事，只能微笑和在脑海里重播（多么希望可以再一次体会）

疼爱和想念的人，只能永远的追悼，永远的想念，很小心，很小心的保存在心里。。。 。。。 。。。
（多么希望可以再一次听到她的声音，再一次握着她的手）

后悔和遗憾的事，只能永远的被它们绑着。。。

Building & Construction

Why in the world did education institutions like to build their blocks in such a way tt the 1st level is the basement or smth like the 7th floor is the ground floor of smth else?!

NUS like tt KCL also like tt... aiyo...

Still rem when Marpig was in NUS, Marpig never really go classes herself always (actually 100% of the time) relies on classmates!! Only in yr 4 then gets more familiar :P wat with those EA and E1, E2, E3, etc plus thouse tutorial rms etc... gone!!

Luckily KCL is not as horrible as NUS... maybe much smaller (?)

Personalities

Analysing tots... here goes:

Maybe itz smth tt every1 noes and realise... sm pple even came up with personality tests and even books... research have been done too... but then again... how many pple really looked at research papers? How many pple really think about the notion? Yes, most pple only did the tests...

EQ and IQ... abit too broad... Marpig am thinking... maybe personality is all about capacity... in born? maybe... but why pple can change over the years? horoscopes... but not all pple of the same signs have the signz traits... chinese zodiac? not true (personal view)...

So, wat capacity? capacity to absorb personalities... also, diff pple have diff capacity to absorb certain personalities... maybe ttz y pplez personalities changes over the years... maybe ttz y sm pple love more, sm pple hate more, sm pple prefer to be grumpy, sm prefer to be gossipy, sm pple prefer to give more and expect none in return?

Then again, if itz capacity to absorb, how can we lose it? cos capacity is fluid... it flows... we lose sm, we gain sm. But, how do we measure how much one can absorb a particular personality? How come sm of us is more dreamy while sm of us are more practical?

Experience is the key... the capacity to absorb/lose personalities over the years are affected by our experience...

But then, why sm pple become worse, sm pple become better even if they go through the same experience?

Reflection may be the answer...

hmm... don noe why Marpig suddenly tot of such a th... should really study philo or anthro... but then again, Marpig likes marine bio too... argh...

Marpigz ALL TIME FAV FOOD!!

Marpig is a gourmet glutton... (i.e. although Marpig eats alot, Marpig noes her food... erm... not literally...)

If someone is to ask Marpig wat is her ALL TIME FAV fd... guess Marpig will say its sambal chou dou!! YEH!!

U noe... all time fav fd... criteria are:

1) U yearn to, want to and can eat it anytime, anywhere, anyway, anyhow
2) U missed it anywhere, anytime, anyway and anyhow
3) U never grow bored eating it 24 hours a dae, 7 daes a week
4) Itz healthy
5) Yr whole family loves it too

AND............... can anyone guess?!?! hiak hiak hiak not 鸡饭, not 炒馃条, not carrot cake, not 蚝煎 but!!!!!!!

Love of Comics

Pple who noe Marpig (for some time lah) will noe Marpig is crazy over comics... hmm... don rem when Marpig starts liking and reading them...

OH!! REM!! Let us trace it back to the time when Marpig is still a runt... (abit grandmama but heck!! U want to noe too right!!)

Tsk... don noe if itz inborn for Cancerians... they are more artistic and poetic becos they are such emotional creatures... ***Note: Cancerians are never boring creatures despite being artistic and emotional. We can be damn crappy!! (All cancerians who Marpig noes are ALL crappy pple!! YEH!!)

Coupled with the fact tt Marpig is a left-hander... so Marpig loves drawing since young... no one teach or ask Marpig to draw... Marpig just loves drawing. When young, Marpig will get any pictures and draw them... still kept one drawing (yellowed with age) at home... :) Will show it to any1 who wants to see it... think will laminate it when Marpig has got the time.

Of cos, drawings were considered excellent for tt age wor!! But handwriting was/is/ horrible... so... em. Then, told Marpigz mom Marpig wanted to be a painter/comic artist... but... of cos... like any other mothers or movies (in Singapore)... Marpig was told tt a person cannot earn a living by drawing and painting in Singapore... argh... reality reality reality... so... think stopped for a while and concentrated in studies and badmintion :D

Oh, an impt note here... rem in previous bloggie tt Marpig mentioned bout those 1960s comics such as the 梅秀姐? Think ttz the root reason why Marpig loves reading comics...

Then came sec sch... era of Bukit Merah library... hahahaha used to visit tt lib so much (also don noe for wat but the food beside are not bad!!) Think kept going there to borrow comics like Garfield, Snoopy (like the style) and Asterix (like the absurbity)!! :D (Don ask, Marpig don like Tin Tin... just don noe why)

Those are great!! Especially the little-white-doggie-which-you-can-easily-missed when obelix is there. Then also cos times were simple and tv also show Snoopy during Xmas... Garfield was not so exciting though but still digestable... Then in schz library, Marpig read the chinese comics, 聊斋志毅... wow!! Those were very cool too!! PLUS, itz the era of 老夫子 and 小叮当!! Oh boy oh boy!! *xxxcited* they are simply all time fav!! Anytime, anywhere, anyhow!!

***Everytime Marpig goes Malaysia on buses, will definitely buy a comic during one of the stops... in fact, ttz one of the things tt Marpig looks 4wrd too!! :D Never noe leh!! ahahahahaha

So, Marpigz urge to dabble in drawing and being a comic artist was awaken. Was also crazy over Dragon Ballz then (don noe why but simply love tt guy with purple hair called Trunks aka 特南克斯 muahahhahaha) then on one bdae, Marpigz frens got Marpig a chinese weekly comic mag (think itz called Newcom then) cos the cover is 孙悟空(?) or 特南克斯(?)

Guess ttz the turning point ba... since then, Marpig started going googoo gahgah over manga... even submitted 2 comic strips, 1 commentary, to 星期五日报, 创意 and Newcom respectively. The 1st 2 got published but the comic story tt Marpig drew for 创意 wasnt selected... original copy wasnt returned as well!! :( Oh well... should have photocopied it hor... aiya... too young to be so cautious...

Quite saddened by tt... so didnt draw since then... sort of lost confidence... though still kept portfolio of some drawings... only immersed in reading comics...

Became a habit over the years... still do read comics... used to spend tons of $ on comics... especially loves 高桥留美子 and 北条司... of cos, also love 手塚治虫 among some veteran ones with good plots and moral behind each stories...

Then, in uni daes, borrowed an EC comic, think itz either of the 3; Vault of Horror, Haunt of Fear or Tales from the Crypt... wow!! BEST english comic tt Marpig has ever read!! Love the style of drawing as well as the plot... cos each stories has a moral... wow... itz smth like the english version of 梅秀姐!! (Pls go Orchard lib to borrow)

Now... as Marpig is aging... only want to collect comics... classic ones... been hunting down 高桥留美子 and 北条司 comics when they 1st started out... am still looking... :( Also gonna grab those classic ones in Kino by 手塚治虫!! Been trying so hard (in vain) to find EC comics box sets... sigh... specifically:

1) 高桥留美子 "一磅的福音" saw it in Kino but in english... want to find the chinese version of it!!

2) EC box sets (5 hard cover books in one box set). Titles are "Tales from the Crypt", "Vault of Horror" and "Haunt of Fear"

3) 手塚治虫 comic collection. Seen them one yr ago in Kino... don noe still have or not...

:P Mentioned it here cos was thinking if Marpigz frens can help Marpig source for them!! :D

Hmm... comptemporary... don noe if pple still love reading comics and drawing inspirations and lessons from them... of cos... most comics now don really instill much moral lessons... or, if they do, it must be in a not-so-receiving manner... no wonder pple don read them... hahaha being a comic artist is not easy afterall!!

Anyway, Marpig loves Baby Blues, Sherman's Lagoon and Calvin and Hobbs too (though some other comics like the Wizard of ID or etc... hmm... don noe wat the heck they are toking bout)!! hahahahaha but wont collect them... not tt passionate YET maybe... hahahahahaha *echos*

Flying

As mentioned for a couple of times, Marpig is able to swim in the water, drive on the road and sea but not fly in the air... really wanted learn flying but don really think ttz possible anymore... :P or maybe it isnt possible in the 1st place but Marpig just likes to have many dreams :)

Afraid of heights... don noe if itz still tt bad... last time used to be afraid of looking over bridges and taking escalators. But now better (?)... cos Marpig am more willing to face the fear!!

Will occasionally peer over the bridges to "practice" but gets abit queesy after awhile... then also went climbing with Sexy Lady (a change of a better nick for a mysterious person hiak hiak hiak!!) *grins* so kinda (ask for trouble) managed to curb fear though Marpig will whine abit and get paranoid and always think of getting a helicopter to bring Marpig down the mountain after reaching the top... :P So, Marpig must do more climbs!! *obvious hint* :D

Was toking bout army with FH and Alan when they came UK... they suggested tt Marpig can sign on army!! hahahahaha oh well, tt same night, Marpig actually dreamt of attending lessons from an instructor!! Worse, nearly fell into the sea from the jetty!! *whew*

Today dreamt of smth xxxciting too!! Heart was beating like a rock band!! Was taking a lift in a shopping centre (?) or a flat (?) on the 7th floor. Then got 2 women (?) inside too. We all wanted to go to the 1st floor so pressed 1. Then door closes and after only a little while, door opens and we were thinking so fast reach liao meh. Nvm, then without warning, the lift just freefall!! *bengz*

For Marpig, who is afraid of heights and has a small gut but big heart, itz abs 100% *screaming* experience!! So we were all frantically pressing 7th again hoping it will go up (majiam like Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator!!) but of cos, it freefall until 1st floor and gently halted like airplane landing... still, Marpigz heart is beating at 1000 times a min...

Been suffering from long term (cos from April until now mah) insomia... sigh... drinking milk doesnt really help (thanks to Mimi Tee for suggestion)... no more books to read (thanks to FH and Alan for bringing sm books back for Marpig)... started reading comics tt XT has kindly brought for Marpig not bad... can sleep after reading like 1/2 the book... :)

Oh anyway, out of point, this particular bloggie entry is about flying... sigh... think the only way for Marpig to fly is

1) Take aeroplane
2) Go parasailing & paragliding (no fear no fear!! must try at least once in a lifetime!! YEH!!)
3) ... NO jetty jump... itz a nightmare... or worse... so go more mountain climbing!! *winks at Sexy Lady*
4) "Fly" underwater with parrot(fishes) and all :D

Now, Marpig 12 learn horse riding!! YEH!!

Night...

Think most of us like the night... of cos, the night in UK is definitely not tt safe but no diff, the night everywhere is so soothing... itz just a kind of feeling Marpig guesses...

Love walking in the cool night... looking at neon lights, sipping some kopi (in London but not often lah)

Love driving at night in Singapore... love to drive along the xpressway, with windows wound down and breeze blowing at the face (of cos, Marpigz hair go crazy in the wind too but heck!!)

Love taking night buses to another state in Aussie, looking at the dark night sky full of stars...

Love taking bumboats (no, Marpig don get seasick which is heng!!) to island when going diving... rocking and the splashing of the waves... lying on the open deck and staring up into the black sky with stars!! Sometimes can see constellations (but often only Orion cos itz the easiest to reg), smtimes can see shooting stars as well!!

Suddenly tot of smth... actually, Marpig can be quite silly... or... naive... or... idealistic... cos Marpig heard pple said tt doing these can have dreams coming true:

1) Take an eyelash and wish for a wish (Tried many times but 不灵的~)
2) Wish upon a shooting star (Tried but 骗人的~)
3) Wish on bdae b4 blowing candles (Tried... strange... smtimes comes true smtimes dont...)

Of cos... frankily... none of the above works... Marpig noes... but still does them... hahahaha how silly...

Yes yes... we need to work for wat we want... but... so boring... think itz better to work hard for wat we want but at the same time still make a wish smtimes to add some mystic in... well... makes everyth more fairy tale like mah...









Tsk... Itz 10pm... but itz only sunset now in London... *bengz*


















CNY in Chinatown, Singapore... Looking down from Marpigz kitchenz window... can see Maxwell Hawker in the distance as well as the Chinatown Hawker... ARGH...

Hmm... have a fren whse bdae fall on 06/06... so this yr her bdae is 06/06/06!! WOW!!

Was thinking... when will it be 2/7/27... another... 21 years... wow... how old will Marpig be?! *counting trotters*... wah... *gulped* Marpig will be a very old pig!! *cough cough*

Sexy Lady!! Marpigz body is pretty shapey (and sexy actually!!) but stamina is below 100000000000!! A few flights of stairs can kill Marpig... gosh... *sniffing* Marpig suddenly smells curry... hmmm

oh... out of point... been nuaing too much... really hope to fin thesis b4 Marpig goes back in Aug... then will have sooooooo much to do but so little time!!!!!!!!

Must exercise EVERYDAE as well as eat and eat everydae!! YEAH!! Got to go shopping for things too...

Sigh... suddenly felt tt life is so short... if we r lucky and can live until 100 yrs old (which is very unlikely), then we will have spent bout 1/4 of it studying... then 1/2 of it working and slogging and the rest will be taking care of children (if any of us have)... then... not much time to tour the whole world...

If we are normal... letz say Marpig can live till 60yrs old only... gosh... Marpig had already spent 1/3 of it studying and getting tt 5 yrs of experience in UK... then wat should Marpig do with the 2/3?!

Oh man... the tot of it is scary!! So, must really work, play and tour, work, play and tour!!

Really hope to travel all over to take pictures of sunrises and sunsets, etc... write a book... draw some comics like Marpig used to... climb, camp, dive, paragliding, play hockey, etc... hahaha... so, itz true... when one gets older, one tends to hope to become a child again...

Or is it REALLY just Marpig... who, all along, deep inside, wished and have never really grown up, never really let go of the past...

Thinking of all the hurdles and turning points and milestones... really wonder wat is life all about... why are we living when we are growing old and will die one day?

Sometimes, when looking at sunsets, sunrises, the deep blue sea, the waves clashing onto the rocks, the flowers blooming, the fishes, the rainbows after the rain, the wonderful and funny shaped clouds in the blue sky, Marpig tends to smile... followed by a deep sigh... cos although Marpig feels glad but at the same time sad as Marpig shall miss all of them when Marpig grows old and bed ridden...

Oh man... guess itz another of Marpigz melancholy shitty mood resurfacing again...

Webcam & A Short One!!

Thanks to FH, Marpig now has a webcam!! But... cant see Marpigz frens cos not all have webcam... oh well... shall psycho pple to buy webcams!! hiakhiakhiak!! Anyway, next time if any of u want to see Marpig LIVE on TV, pls update msn and log on!! :D

Really miss home... the food... sigh... 5 yrs... just hope time zoooooooooooooom past... let Marpig get wat she wants and just live life to the fullest...

And... think gonna register for London Bikeathon ALONE... cos seems like no one is free!! SIGH... well, at least managed to find sm1 to borrow a bicycle... so don have to spend $ to rent one on top of the 10 quid registration fees...

Caught in Torture Chamber!!

Image this: U r "locked" in a room, forced to listen to tens of pple who, although spoke english but the words just doesnt form meaningful sentences and looking at info on the projector screen u have no idea for the whole dae from morning till evening.

Marpig just had interim ppt todae... Marpig dare say Marpigz ppt is well-received and is the best. Of cos, everyone was impressed and even came up to praise Marpig. (Marpig just humbly thank them :D) Even sup praised Marpig and the 2nd marker was satisfied.

The rest of the ppts... Marpig believes everyone noes wat they r doing but itz just the ability to express and present and cope with the anxiety tt wasnt present at the critical time for most pple...

Itz really a torture to listen to english tt makes no sense, or, words tt fly ard but forms no sentences... some presented to the projector only while some prefer to admire the laptop...

The worst, sad to say, are the C pple. (Hopefully u noe who Marpig is referring to). Itz hard to comprehend wat they r trying to say or explain... the command of english is really nil... maybe for presentation wise... however, basic expressing of self is lacking as well... of cos, Marpigz english and chinese are not fantastic but "understandable"...

Sometimes, it just makes Marpig feel fustrated tt they (C. pple) seems to have tons of $ to study (even pay for phd where Marpig has offer but no $!! GRRRR!!) Also, how and why in the world did they ever manage to enrol in UK universities when their english SUX!! *bengz* Of cos, there r some who speaks english ok... but those who r atrocious... sigh... Marpig just hope they brushed up and stop being a ridicule to their own country... at least, they must try to do their country proud...

Weather in london is horrible... itz too hot!! bout 30 to 32 deg!! yes yes, Singapore is much higher at ard 35 deg but over here, itz DRY & hot!! Singapore is humid & hot so wont die... over here, Marpig can become bah gua leh... get sunburnt easily too... anyway, continue to share some interesting pictures!!

The Round Tower at Windsor Castle where Queen E. & fam spent their holidays in... cant rem summer or winter liao... there are a total of 3 castles tt the royals go and stay in... one is Buckingham, one is in Scotland and the next is Windsor. Anyway, Round Tower is not open to the public...

Night in London

Was walking to Embankment tube station one night... walking along London Eye... very nice street performer playing classical music on her organ with Westminster and Big Ben as background... was really a romantic night... too bad Marpigz alone... oh well...

XT, been wondering why Marpig hasnt bloggie for so long?! :P

Eventful life... well, life is eventful by itself... been predicting tt the yr 2006 will be eventful and it is!!

PS has got a fren who noes alot about star signs... but XT and Dingko Nutz noe quite abit too!! :D Too bad she didnt ask bout cancerians... should lah... we are such nice and loving creatures!! (crabs are tasty too!!!!!!!!!)

Wish no. 1: Marpig want to go JB eat seafood... Marpig have not tried it b4!!

Went Bath and stoneH (pun idea from Beenie) with FH and fren!! itz fun but damn bloody hot!! sunburnt and headache!!

Saw smth interesting on the way home on the tour bus... saw 2 pigeons nodding each others' heads.... how to put it... smth like... kissing or bowing... was wondering wat the heck are they doing on the perch of a building... but itz cute... never tot birds could do tt... then out of the blue, saw one of the pigeons go behind another and like any other animals, was MATING!! Was very brief. Was very quick. Wanted to take a video/picture but too late!! hahahahahahaha

London Bikeathon

REALLY wanted to join the London Bikeathon... (www.londonbikeathon.co.uk)

on 16th July... hmm... just nice... post-celebrate Marpigz bdae with a gd work out... watz the best man!! ok... will join will join!!

Was reading journals and found a mistake in a paper... The figure was captioned wrongly... really makes Marpig laugh!! It goes like,

"The sides of the wall is insulted"

hahhahahahaha itz a heat transfer problem... and the correct word should have been insulated!! hahaahahahah never noe an "a" could do so much diff!! Really makes Marpigz sides laugh!!

Finally, realised tt Marpigz blogging freq has been stretched right? ttz cos wireless internet at home SUX LIKE RUBBISH!! So, Marpig is now in sch, on a nice sunny Sat afternn... doing interim ppt as well as using the net... ALONE... with mobile phone blasting music...

Then again, felt so studious (and nerdy probably) but shiok!! Cos, alone in big comp rm, blasting music and doing work... not bad... more productive... bad th is... if leaves comp unattented, it will log out of its own... ie, Marpig haven gone to loo for 6 hours!!

Mentioned tt the sun now rises at ard 33am ans sets ard 10pm... LONG dae... but nice... :) Oh, bad th is Marpig now sleeps like a vampire... always hiding under cover of blanket... *baring teeth, though not sharp ones*

Therez gonna be a London Bikeathon on 16th July... really wanted to join!! Itz damn cool!! Think MOST probably will join!! Cos... Marpig loves cycling & hasnt done so for like a mil years!! (Figuratively lah!! :P) But no one to go with leh... hmmm......

Was thinking when looking out of Cosy Barn into the sunsetting sky outside... The colours are really very beautiful, even though Marpig is cooped up in Cosy Barn... (but felt like Rapunzel gazing into the perfect night sky up a tower :D ahhaahahah don puke!! how rude!!)

But... sun setting thought sets in (notice how Marpig love playing with words)...

Human beings really love colours... the best colour Marpig thinks must be rainbows and sunset or sunrise and times when the sun rays shine through the clouds onto the horizon of the sea... we are so affected by colours too... blue monday, black or white (funeral for asians but elegance or pureness for ang mohs), red ang pows (makes adults tremble but joy for children... erm those children tt are not $ minded of cos), etc...

BUT, when everyone of us are immersed in the beauty of everyth... did this tot ever pops into yr mind?

"What about the blinds"

Amidst admiring and smiling at nice sunset and trying to capture the picturesque view (in vain), Marpig suddenly tot of the blinds and the fact tt they could not see wat we see...
