Really feeling restless... no mood to study... did re-revise todae... but... saturated... Marpig noe how to do... but... don have the sense of urgency... molo going to sch for phototaking... gonna hand in Thermofluids CW too... then, no more CWs!! Hmm... been cooking for a week liao... experimented with Jap curry and found tt itz damn nice!! Oh man!! Gonna cook when Marpigz back... think will share with Sansao cos itz only vege and Marpig think she will love it cos itz nice and simple to prepare and cook!! :D
Preparations
Step 1: Slice leeks (Those big Jap juicy leeks, not small ones umk!!)
Step 2: Slice capped mushrooms (Portobello also can but not canned ones umk!! Must be fresh)
Step 3: Chop broccoli (Slice the stem but the rest chop the usual way)
Cooking
Step 1: Boil water (Not too much but enough for curry as well as boiling the veges... erm... Marpig don measure when cooking, Marpig uses intuition :P)
Step 2: When water is boiling, add broccoli 1st and boil until broccoli is 1/2 cooked
Step 3: Then add in leeks and boil until leeks are 1/2 cooked
Step 4: Finally, add in the mushrooms and boil somemore (Stop asking how long... use feeling and intuition umk?! :P But a gauge is to see the mushrooms getting smaller)
Step 5: Add 2 Jap curry cubes and stir well, simmer. Stir occasionally. Simmer.
Step 6: Once u think it looks like curry (i.e., gravy not too thin, which is also the reason y in the 1st place don put too much water) then pour it over steamed rice and WALA!!

Okkokoko!! Itz looks green cos itz all vege, it looks brown cos itz curry. But trust Marpig, it tastes really nice!! Itz sweet (not sugary sweet lah)!! Erm... hard to describe acutally... aiyo...
Secrets:
1) Healthy dish
2) Notice Marpig didnt add any seasonings at all
*3) Sweetness comes from the fact tt the water used for the curry is the water tt boil the vege. So the vege flavour all in the curry too.
Note: Cannot add too much water cos vege flavour in the water will be diluted but must be enough lah. Also, mushrooms will give out water when u cook them, so rem to offset huh!! :P
Method to make Frothy Eggie
BTW, all of u can try this... when cooking maggie mee, beat an eggie (think whisking is a better word) Beat/whisk the eggie with chopsticks (fingers not allowed) and try to INTRODUCE AS MUCH AIR INTO eggie while u beat/whisk. Vigourously for maybe... 15 secs... well... depends on skill of beater/whisker :P
Then, when maggie mee is almost ready, (impt part!!) turn on the heat to high, see the soup boiling, pour the eggie over the top of the noodles, keep high heat, let the boiling soup bubbles cover the eggie, wait for 2 secs, turn off heat totally and WALA!! Frothy eggie on top!!
***Becareful not to spill the soup over when turing on high heat ok!! Control control!!
Will insert picture once Marpig eat maggie mee... maybe molo...
