1st Day in Paris

(Might not be able to relate every bit of places Marpig trotted so pls 多多见谅!! :D)

Left accomodation at Noisel and went to grab sm grocery b4 going to central Paris

The shopping mall was all right and equally boring like the UK ones... but luckily therez nice decors :) Bears making cakes!! :D__
Wonder which country does Carrefour comes from? Not Msia but France!! So, no wonder one can never find Tesco in France or Carrefour in the UK. Why? Cos the English won the French in sm war (Marpig cant rem) and so, French don like the English

Any difference btw the Carrefour in Singapore or France? Apparently... nope!! But the fd are slightly bigger and better!!
Sharks... bcos it has been like 3 months since Marpig went for the dec trip, coupled with the fact tt her memories are smwat failing her, Marpig might not be able to relate xactly wat happened!! Nonetheless, here goes!!

It was bout 2pm when Marpig reach the cheap hotel near Moulin Rouge, which Marpig, @ tt time, didnt realise. As the room wasnt ready, so she decided to dump her bpack and start sightseeing!!

It was gd since the hotel was really near (in fact, at the foot of) Sacre Coeur aka Church of Jesus!! The church is really nice and offered gd paranomic view of Paris (though not the entire Paris since it is a huge city)
Then, Marpig walked back to check in and since itz bout dinner time with a bit of time left then for squeezing in sm sightseeing, Marpig xplored the hotelz surroundings and indeed, it is near the red light district of flamboyant Paris!! Saw 2 nightclubs and quickly took photos of them. TT guy was too wols... he wanted to take sm too but sm1 from the nightclub came out, saw him wanting to take photos and shooed him away!! And scary cat he is!! Cant believe a regular can be so 胆小怕事. Kao. So we quickly ciao to the next place

Walked around the streets of Paris and a few observations amidst the freezing cold!!

1) Streets of Paris can be as dirty, if not worse, than those in London.
2) Traffic in central Paris can be crazier than in London. Cars do not readily stop at zebra xing and so watch it!!
3) The French are, should Marpig say, generally rude pple? Well sm arent rude but they are genenrally snobbish ttz why they appear rude? They don really like speaking English and don smile at passersby like the English do. Hence, a little bit of Bonjour and Merci are gd for u

But the buildings are really like wat pple said. Pretty and romantic!! hahahahahha the balconies are really iconic One of the many ths other than escargoes tt Marpig wanted to try in Paris is cakes!! French pastries are famous!! And tt time Marpig had just fin watching Kim Sam Soon and so, Passtier sounded so artistic!! No matter how xpensive the pastries might be, Marpig will definitely grab a few!! Marpig continued sightseeing and came to St. Augustine (think so) The roads ard the church was named after the many world famous cities such as: Anyw, the churches outside of the UK are really nicer!! (Marpig like those in Germany; Gothic and Rococo style!!) It was really quite interesting tt Marpig saw this:
It is St. Theresa!! hahahahhaha a happy feeling :) Reminds Marpig of STC & all the memories!!

Anyw, time flew by and it was time to go back for a rest

The hotel rm was ok... but no slippers nor kettle. But itz cheap enough!!
BTW, think biddets are an invention of the Parisans(?) Itz really rare to find biddets in the UK now but it is still quite common in France. Hopefully no pple mistook it to be a wash-hand basin!! EEEKKOW... tt will be... *cough* quite distasteful... :P
Anyh, Marpig bought a small bottle of caviar when she was at Carrefour. Of cos itz not gonna be those really xxxpensive type but just for the taste. Duh. Once tasted, itz no big deal!! Chey!! Itz just like eating fish roe (and, IT IS eating fish roe). Just tt we often eat the roe tt are from crabbies and salmon, fresh. Caviar is, in fact, the processed and salted roe of sturgeon fish. Nth special really

Marpig was really hungry and had supper b4 she konked out!!
