A little bit more bout Marpigz Cosy Barn 3.
Other than being a nice cosy place to stay near the office, the window is very much like the one in Cosy Barn 1. Even the bed arrangement is the same; just beside the window tt looks into the dark starry sky.
As Oct comes to an end, BST (British Summer Time) is coming to an end as well. Meaning, UK is gonna be back to 8 hours behind Singapore time.
These few nights have been waking up just b4 dawn ard 5am, when the sky is still dark and clear.
Been seeing many big and bright stars ihcluding an upside down Orion. So, ths don usually have to be the right way up. Who noes, we might be standing on our heads in space!!
One more th... is it bcos the world is changing? Orionz straight line of 3 stars are now bent!! Bout... less than 5 deg. More like a gentle arc now... nononono!! Marpig didnt mistaken!! She noes her Orion!!
Guess shall get a binoculous smtime when Marpigz got the money. Think for star gazing, basic binoculous is a 7" 3 smth specs... argh... quite an investment since could use it for other ths like bird/animal watching next time while travelling.
Oh yes... need to get a camera tt works good underwater too!! Sharks.
Need to really save more!!
Finally, there was once Marpig spotted a green fat catepillar in the fridge. Must have hid itself in the broccoli. Itz been such a long time since Marpig played with one. Now, Marpig am squeamish bout them though they are harmless and cute!!
Anyway, Marpig saw it and got a shock. So Marpig closed the fridge door, thinking, it will be too cold and will just die (sounded cruel, but better than Marpig squashing it)
After a dae or 2, Marpig went to look for the "dead catepillar" but!! Itz nowhere to be found!! OMG OMG!! Wherez it?!
At first Marpig am abit paranoid as to there it went. The fridge is closed, itz cold. No dead caterpillar... hmmm...
Finally, after may be... 1 week or so, the mystery is solved.
Guess wat
When Marpig opens the fridge door one dae, she saw a thumb-sized big pupa!! OMGOMGOMGOMG!!
So!! The caterpillar didnt die and had fell into a deep slumber, ready for metamorphosis into a butterfly!!
So, even a caterpillar, trapped inside a fridge, wanted to continue itz life. So how can Marpig kill it a 2nd time? So, Marpig used newspaper to take it out and let it out of the window.
Moral of the story; Life is precious; even little animals cherish their short life and fight till the end, knowing they will die shortly (butterflies live for a week or so only)
Not only must we treasure our lives, we must also treaure the pple we love. We only live once...
