Worse, hasnt been doing sit ups or push ups... argh...
Workload is getting heavier (but it is a good th)
Really living life in the worse possible way. Maybe ttz how pple ruin their health when they are still young. Pple keeping thinking young is everyth, pple can try all sorts of ths just for "the xperience" but pple normally 4get tt the essence of life is CONTINUITY and ACCUMULATION.
*deeper thought* how contradicting all become...
Pple want to accumulate xperience yet if xperiences are inherently bad, pple suffer in old age; yet, we need life xperiences to grow and progress = continuity. YET again, life is not 4ever.
So, the cycle goes back to the fundamental idea of duality in all ths. Xperiences, good or bad, life and death, etc.

Enough is Enough
Right. Am not trying to blog too much juicy thingy. Maybe 1 more... :P
Does not love any1 now at all. Like wat Marpig had mentioned in those ancestrous bloggie entries 1.5 yrs ago (GOSH!! time flew by just like tt!!) tt BGF was never on the priority list.
There will be sm1 coming in dec and hez abit of the grey. Cos itz not confirm if hez really out to impress. To summarise, herez wat he did:
1) sms every week. once or a few every time. asking howz Marpig etc
2) call Marpig. every wkend.
He just smsed Marpig yesterday night he got a question to ask Marpig but shall leave it till later.
Hmmm... if Marpig am not wrong, he is interested in Marpig? Marpig pretend not knowing. Do look 4wrd to him (or any1 in fact) to come UK. Cos so there will be pple going travelling or just having a meal/kopi with Marpig.
Letz hope he is not going to ask THAT question. Cos most probably Marpig will be frank and disappoint him in a nice way.
Gave ML a called over the wkend after he called. Was fun toking to ML. Shez also toking to sm1 who is after her but she don really like. So we chatted and realised, there arent alot of guys now who can make us feel like little women. In the sense, as Marpig am gonna reiterate here, Marpig am independent, has a budding career (not just a job), $. Noe how to take care of oneself, cook, upkeep the house, etc etc.
Really need sm1 to come along tt can make Marpig become totally "useless" and yearning for his care and dote. Heu, *shake head*
Anyway, over the wkend also, (don 12 lament on the now defunct laptop) Marpig bought this Chambord; a kind of French berry wine. Gonna xperiment it with a few recipes assuggested. Tried Chambord with kopi (minus the whipped cream) and wow. Felt so much like cough mixture flavoured kopi. u noe, the strawberry kinda cough mixture (cos Chambord is afterall, a berry wine) Abit eeew but ok lah.
And, discovered the most beautiful guy (most beuatiful gal being we-noe-who :P) in the world. 1st time Marpig drool over a picture of an actor. Fren of fren showed Marpig. Think Ding and many of u noe who he is. Daniel smth... a korean actor who is a mixed btw Swedish and Korean.

Then, Sexy Lady, this is for u. We've got an assistant to Architect in Marpigz project group. He is an xchange from sm archi firm. Young lad, stylo (basic trait of all archi pple, including Ding!!), don speak alot. Saw his project for his dissertation and wow. 102% inpractical. Very bold design but quite impractical and at 1st glance, itz kinda abstract.
Saw his sketches and yes. Seems like archi pple can draw str lines w/o using rulers and very nice sketches!! Ding included. Impressed!!
Then, the main purpose of the xchange is to foster understanding btw engrs and architects, as maybe Ding might now noe.
For eg., an architect will give engrs a 10m2 plant room or riser space. But for engrs, it is not the area but the dimensions tt matters. The room/riser might be 10m by 1m, in which, it will be impossible to fit any chillers/boilers/AHU in. Say we need 5m by 2m = 10m2. But, architects will still insist they have given us the required area. Then engrs will have to convince architects tt chillers/boilers/AHU do not come in 10m by 1m sizes...
hahahahaha so, Marpig told this to the young lad (hey, Marpig am 4 yrs his senior!!) and he laughed and understood. :D) Good for him!!
Last but not least, PS, if u ever are reading this by chance, there is no need to call Marpigz dad. He had passed Marpigz backback to Marpigz sis when he went to HK for Marpigz sisz father-in-lawz 60th bdae. Will be collecting from Marpigz sis this coming Easter.
Oh, last last last, itz Springtime and BST (British Summer Time) had begun. Hence, UK is now 7 hours behind Singapore time. :))

Red Nose Day
16th March is a Red Nose Day. It is a charity event (or even semi public holiday) and is ran by Comic Relief. In fact, all of u can read from Wikipedia so tt Marpig can blog less. :P But oh well, u wont noe wat to read in Wikipedia anyway. So since Marpigz office is "celebrating" this Red Nose Day, might as well blog abit on it.
So, we got funny charity fund raising in the office like, wearing red (1 quid donation) or else, 2 quid "fine", cakes selling at 50p each (cakes are supposed to be donated as well), ko an hour early by donating a minimum of 5 quid, etc etc. Also, a pin and a red nose will be on sale for 1.50 quid each, which, Marpig am most likely to buy. :P Cos collects pin badges and hey!! A red nose!! Nvm lah, wear it for a dae and as a joke!! :D
Can even wear it next time when Marpig am back in Singapore!! :P
Right, finished the bloggie entries for these few eventful daes. Really hope laptop will not be broken until next year when Marpig get a new one(?) Sigh...

Sexy Lady, Marpig and alot more pple in the world simply love this smell; the smell during/after a shower. We often describe the smell as pleasant, romantic, soothing, nostalgic etc etc etc. :D)
Actually, it is one the the top favourite smells tt pple like. It is due to the yellow organic oil from smth (a kind of plant) tt was absorbed by the earth and rocks and wat have u which was release into the air when it rains. Especially so after a dry spell.

IWD and Smth Worse
Right, once again, long awaited bloggie entry from Marpig. Reasons being:
1) Busy with more and more projects (Gd th)
2) No internet
3) No time to use office internet
4) No internet at home (still)
5) (And this is the ultimate) Marpigz made-in-china NEC laptop is~~~ gone!!
Biangz. No TV is already quite smth for contemporary pple. Luckily Marpig am not dependent on TV (hasnt been using a TV for 2+ years!!) But, this makes Marpig very dependent on laptop. Now tt itz gone, Marpigz only entertainment is readings (very seldom but will try to increase the freq) and the only small screen portable DVD player...
Sigh...
Anyway, letz finally begin the bloggie which Marpig has typed long ago (b4 laptop totally flopped):
"Hasnt been blogging for a long time cos laptop is going... abit scary... cos as all of u noe, Marpig do not have a TV at home. The only "TV equivalent" is the laptop. Although she does have a small portable DVD player but it is really SMALL. Can only play dics and Marpig has lotsa movies tt requires a computer to play... sigh...
So, while laptop is still up and running, Marpig shall quickly blog!!
1st, letz tok bout IWD = International Women's Day. Very easy to rem. It is always on 8th March. Thus, "三八妇女节"
It was originated from the US around 1909. Think it was due to the working conditions for women then. Cos in the US at tt time (as well as other countries), only women worked in garment fatories. Wages were low, working conditions sux big time (refer to one of the story in Marpigz fav EC comics of the 1960s, "Tales from the Crypt"). Very young gals need to work long hours under dim light, using rubbish sewing machines to make garments. So they might end up blind (maybe not really blind but almost there)
And there was an incident when a factory on top of a 10 storey high building caught fire. One of the exit were blocked cos owners prefer to store ths there despite pple telling them no. The other exit was in flames. So the women were trapped. Sm were burnt alive and sm jumped down 10 storey to their death. About 140+ women died. So, IWD started in an attempt to inprove working conditions for the women later.
Essentialy, IWD is a day for men to express their sympathy and love to the women around them. Smwat like Mothers' Day, Vdae, etc. Ha, but of cos, men do not undestand this (as usual) and tot IWD is a day where women go yaya papaya, protest in streets about 101 ths unfair to them (well, not too xtreme also lah, gals!!)
There is also a IMD. But it has got no meaning to it unlike IWD. Basically, itz the baby of the menz ego. So Marpig bet there must have been sm MCPs drinking booze in a pub one dae and asking questions like "Why the chicks have IWD but we havent" and "If they have an IWD, we should have an IMD!!" DUH.
Sigh... don they see. We do not want to be better than them. We just want to fight for respect and appreciation rather than being viewed and labelled as vases, dolls, the weaker sex, can give birth and can be (pardon the crudeness) f***ed.
It is just like the men disliking pple to say tt they are bulls and have no use to the human race except for their sperms for procreation."

Marpig and the Giant Juicy Peach (Blossom)
He is working in the army and works till quite late and got to stay in camp yet he will email Marpig
He always call Marpig from Singapore and chat from 30mins to even an hour everytime
He asked Marpig out on Vdae
He is coming this yr dec to go backpacking with Marpig (may go Paris or Italy or wherever, haven decide. Tsk. Marpig chided him cos of this cos Marpig cannot stand indecisive pple, especially if itz a guy!! Though Marpig thinks he wants to let Marpig choose but Marpig am more concern tt he should enjoy Europe more than Marpig since Marpig will be here for many more yrs to come!!)
He gave Marpig a pair of chipmunks and keep asking Marpig to bring it to the UK (which Marpig didnt and he keeps harping on it)
He keeps saying he is a good guy and different from what Marpig always complained bout
He said he don mind going to Europe a few more times in the future
He said he likes to chat to Marpig cos she is "more sane" than other pple and different
He calls and smses Marpig from Singapore quite often (in fact, he is the most freq caller and smser)
TT time when Marpig went for companyz Xmas Party, he smsed Marpig ths like whether Marpig got drunk silly or whether Marpig enjoyed it, etc

Being a fren hez ok. Haven travelled with him so shall KIV this dec. He is not MCP (= he respect ladies, which is gd), he is sporty, likes backpacking and easy going, earns quite abit. But sadly, Marpig don really feel anyth for him (yet?) And at one time, Marpig am quite pee off from his constant calls and smses.
Only just recently, Marpig sort of wish he will call/sms and look 4wrd to dec. But don think itz cos Marpig has feelings for him. Itz cos of boredom and the tot of having a travelling khaki from Singapore ba...
At least, he is better than other guys Marpig met and can see beyond all the make up and dresses...
Marpig also told him bout wat Marpig has blogged in the previous bloggie entry (no, he does not noe Marpigz bloggie url!! No way!!) and he immediately say he mops his own room in the camp, cooks his own meals (but itz convenient food tt go into the microwave), sew his own clothes when they are torn, etc Hmmm...
But, he didnt say anyth. So, don think Marpig shall continue guessing though itz quite fishy. Hmmm... ideas any1?

Read an article on more and more women in Singapore are not considering giving birth. The survey tt "they" did cite 2 major reasons:
1) Women with tertiary education don 12 change their lifestyle
2) Women with less education has financial difficulty
Ok. This may sound bias (but hey, the topic and reasons were bias in nature!!)
Why is it tt itz always the women getting the blame for ageing population and low birth rates, huh? Wat? Cos only females can give birth? So? We don conceive by masturbation leh. A crude way of pointing ths ax but itz true mah.
Marpig personally think the survey questions were technically wronged and/or bias.
1st, the survey questions must have only provided a few choices but may not include the real reason for women who are surveyed to pick. So boh bian, got to choose smth. So choose the most politically correct one lor. End up the results are bias and "manipulated"
Whether women get more education or no $ does affect our choices in giving birth but maybe only as high as 30%?
Itz quite simple actually.
Believe it or not guys, itz the poor std of men now. Of cos, there must be some SNAGs ard but rare.
Itz quite a prick in the menz ego Marpig must say but face it.
Therez totally nth wrong with women having more education. It just equipped us with a clearer mind to select the best. Hey, if guys want to select the best, women have the right too mah. Tell Marpig, is the contrary true? Do more educated guys don 12 have babies? No right?! So, women with more education don 12 give birth? Crap.
Women facing financial diffculties so don 12 give birth. Well, their husbands leh? Why cant it be men facing financial difficulties don want their wives to give birth leh? Plus, if a married couple wants a baby, both pays mah. Plus now got baby bonus.
Really, itz time tt the survey faced up to reality and stop leaning the blame on women. Marpig would totally agree tt most women now don 12 get married too young. But having babies only comes after marriage.
Reasons why women don really 12 get married are mostly due to:
1) Poor current stds of guys avail.
2) Too clever to be tricked
3) Financially and emotionally independent
4) Career
5) Fear of committments
6) Inherited fairy tale dream; always on the lookout for a Prince Charming
7) Afraid of being hurt; especially when pple now don take relationships seriously

Marpig recently discovered why she is still SNA. TTz bcos she hasnt met a guy who is like her (itz said tt we normally look for partners tt are similar to ourselves) and who can (and this is impt!!) make Marpig feel dependent.
Xplanation. As the yrs goes by and as many of Marpigz frens noe, Marpig am so independent. Wat is there tt Marpig cannot do on her own? So much so tt alot of guys she met arent special. Itz like wat most guys can do, Marpig can too, and maybe even more.
Cooking, household chores, taking care of herself and others, decisive, changing light bulbs, carrying heavy ths, getting dirty, going to sites, blah blah blah. Tom boyish you say. But Marpig can carry herself well in meetings, social functions as well as stunning pple by being stunning in gowns and make up (hahahahahhaa *bengz*!!) Too independent. Which is why Marpig need a guy who can come along and make Marpig feels like a lady who needs to be taken care of. Not a MCP but sm1 so gentle yet strong and similar to Marpig who can take care of himself as well as others.
At the moment, Marpig met 2 guys tt are wat Marpig am looking for. 1st, is Marpigz BIL. TTz why Marpig am so glad Marpigz sis got sm1 so nice to take care of her. Read an article on more and more women in Singapore are not considering giving birth. The survey tt "they" did cite 2 major reasons:
1) Women with tertiary education don 12 change their lifestyle
2) Women with less education has financial difficulty
Ok. This may sound bias (but hey, the topic and reasons were bias in nature!!)
Why is it tt itz always the women getting the blame for ageing population and low birth rates, huh? Wat? Cos only females can give birth? So? We don conceive by masturbation leh. A crude way of pointing ths ax but itz true mah.
Marpig personally think the survey questions were technically wronged and/or bias.
1st, the survey questions must have only provided a few choices but may not include the real reason for women who are surveyed to pick. So boh bian, got to choose smth. So choose the most politically correct one lor. End up the results are bias and "manipulated"
Whether women get more education or no $ does affect our choices in giving birth but maybe only as high as 30%?
Itz quite simple actually.
Believe it or not guys, itz the poor std of men now. Of cos, there must be some SNAGs ard but rare.
Itz quite a prick in the menz ego Marpig must say but face it.
Therez totally nth wrong with women having more education. It just equipped us with a clearer mind to select the best. Hey, if guys want to select the best, women have the right too mah. Tell Marpig, is the contrary true? Do more educated guys don 12 have babies? No right?! So, women with more education don 12 give birth? Crap.
Women facing financial diffculties so don 12 give birth. Well, their husbands leh? Why cant it be men facing financial difficulties don want their wives to give birth leh? Plus, if a married couple wants a baby, both pays mah. Plus now got baby bonus.
Really, itz time tt the survey faced up to reality and stop leaning the blame on women. Marpig would totally agree tt most women now don 12 get married too young. But having babies only comes after marriage.
Reasons why women don really 12 get married are mostly due to:
1) Poor current stds of guys avail.
2) Too clever to be tricked
3) Financially and emotionally independent
4) Career
5) Fear of committments
6) Inherited fairy tale dream; always on the lookout for a Prince Charming
7) Afraid of being hurt; especially when pple now don take relationships seriously
Hmmm... all the above from Marpigz own perspective... not sure if others share similar feelings... (feedback pls!!)
Marpig recently discovered why she is still SNA. TTz bcos she hasnt met a guy who is like her (itz said tt we normally look for partners tt are similar to ourselves) and who can (and this is impt!!) make Marpig feel dependent.
Xplanation. As the yrs goes by and as many of Marpigz frens noe, Marpig am so independent. Wat is there tt Marpig cannot do on her own? So much so tt alot of guys she met arent special. Itz like wat most guys can do, Marpig can too, and maybe even more.
Cooking, household chores, taking care of herself and others, decisive, changing light bulbs, carrying heavy ths, getting dirty, going to sites, blah blah blah. Tom boyish you say. But Marpig can carry herself well in meetings, social functions as well as stunning pple by being stunning in gowns and make up (hahahahahhaa *bengz*!!) Too independent. Which is why Marpig need a guy who can come along and make Marpig feels like a lady who needs to be taken care of. Not a MCP but sm1 so gentle yet strong and similar to Marpig who can take care of himself as well as others.
At the moment, Marpig met 2 guys tt are wat Marpig am looking for. 1st, is Marpigz BIL. TTz why Marpig am so glad Marpigz sis got sm1 so nice to take care of her.
