In HK for the Fourth Time(?)

Backed to work and every1 was complimenting Marpigz new hairstyle!! In summary, pple said short hair suits Marpig although long hair looks fine too. Hmmm... actually, Marpig personally like short hair bcos itz so ez to keep, dries faster and if therez strong wind, hair wont be messy like a birdz nest!! :P

Carrying on with Marpigz trip home in Oct...

5th - 8th Oct

Marpig was in HK for the 4th time (think so)!! 1st was with uni classmates for a little graduation tour, then was with PS, then was for Sisz wedding and the 4th time was this occasion!! Marpig always loved HK; itz very much like Singapore and therez simply so many food to eat!! :D__ Plus, they have cute toys like McDull!! *beaming* Also, Marpig loves TVBs!! :D Too bad to date Marpig hasnt seen any superstars!!

Well, without too much words, brace yrself for lotsa delicious photos!! (U will be hungry after reading this entry!! :D__)
Although famous (or infamous) for being very crowded etc, HKers are very orderly!! In fact, Marpig would say they are more orderly than Singaporeans and the pic above proves it!!

Marpigz sis and Marpig (think Marpigz dad too!!) simply love having filling bf!! And Marpig specially loves bf in HK which consisted of 丁面, 鸡蛋 and ham!! Oh boy oh boy!! :D__

Marpig also had other more traditional bf like~~
粉肠, 炸两, 炒面, 炒米粉 & 皮蛋瘦肉粥!! Yeah!!

During this trip, Marpig 收获不错 as she found~~
Hahahahaha!! Always see them on TVB serials and Marpig finally managed to taste them. Well... not 白糖糕 though darn!! 砵仔糕 tastes sweet and nice!! Therez red beans and the texture was smooth and "light"!! Erm... texture is abit like 水粿 but sweet instead of savoury

Then therez 1 night which Marpig will definitely rem!! Why? Cos Marpigz sisz 老爷 brought us all to THE abs 102 fantastic buffet in the Garden Cafe at Conrad!!

Therez everyth u will see in the buffet such as sushi, sashimi, BBQ thingy (pork, beef, prawns, chicken, lamb, etc), hot foods, cold foods, seafds and most imptly!! VERY FRESH and DELICIOUS oysters and lobsters!! Free-flow!! OMGOMGOMG!!
Oh man!! Marpig just so loves her cholesterol!! Really, when Marpig gets old, most probably she will suffer from high cholesterol!! 怎么办?! :D_____ Of cos, Marpig didnt have too much la, although Marpig am a glutton fairy, shez not a greedy pig!! She had quite a few oysters but she only had 2 lobsters (in fact, itz 2 halves, so itz 1 only) Ah~~ dont mind going again!! :D____ How much u asked... erm... bout 500HKD but itz worth it!!

Oh oh!! Marpig also managed to eat 黏饭!! Gosh!! Tastes very much like Japanese fried chicken sushi roll!! Very nice!! OMG!! Marpig fell in love with it already!!
Therez 糯米, 油炸鬼, pork floss and 柞菜!! *陶醉* :D__ Costs only 11HKD!! Marpig am so full of praises for it tt Marpigz sisz 奶奶 actually bought 2 of them for Marpig to eat on the plane back!! :D Yum yum yum!!

This time, Marpig also finally made it to Aberdeen which Marpig didnt make it during the previous 3 trips to HK. Reasons being itz too far South of HK island and normally tourists just hang ard 旺角 and 尖沙嘴
Gosh, Aberdeen aka 香港仔 was so pretty!! Marpig would say itz better than Sentosa in terms of the sun, the sand and the sandy beach!! Of cos, itz not a tourists place like Sentosa bcos buildings there are mostly the rich and posh high rise apartments or bungalows
Therez also a 庙 there with the big 观音 and 妈祖 statues which is a touristsz attraction...

Anyw, after which, Marpig got onto a boat which ferries pple to Jumbo Floating Restaurant for dim sum lunch!!Wat a familiar sight!! Just so reminds one of 周星驰z 食神~~!! ahahahahahaThe decor for the floating restaurant are really 金碧辉煌!! Above is just one of the many chandeliers...Think the above is either 牡丹/茶花... Marpig dont really noe the distinct diff btw the 2. The red ones are roses lah, but dont think the pastel orange ones are

Marpig also visited places which are often used in TVB serials such as the romantic road along the sea
and the stretch of cobber street which the gd guys always chase the bad guys on as well as bike stunts
Therez also the spot which the news often featured when typhoons hit HK and flood the roads
With those, Marpig shall move onto the night when Marpig met up with long time no see sec sch classmate!! Both her and Marpig went to 西贡 for seafd on Marpigz request!! :D__ We were pretty early in HK std for dinner although itz already 7pm. Her colleague rec the last seafd rest along the entire stretch of seafd rests in 西贡 and so both of them took a wols stroll and saw...
A leetle gal with live horseshoe crabbies!! Being Marpig, she asked the leetle gal to pose for Goldie which she shyly did :)

Next up were wat Marpig and fren had over a big bottle of 青岛啤酒!! :D__
First dish!! "圣旨" (razor clams) with pepper in black bean sauce!! :D__
2nd dish!! Scallops with 粉丝 and garlic!! :D__
3rd dish!! Sea bass HK style!! :D__
And finally, prawns with ginger and garlic!! :D__

After scrumptious dinner (although Marpig could eat more but fren cmi liao :P) both of them went for post-dinner stroll along the sea. Came upon a bridge where pple were fishing for sotong in the moonlit night. One of the uncles caught a BEEG sotong!!
Gosh!! Itz alive and kicking!! Erm... more like squirting ink!! One could actually see how much ink it had left!!Being curious, Marpig went to chat with the pple as well as learning abit of the sotongz anatomy from them. See tt leetle black circle at Marpigz thumbz 1 o'clock? Itz the sotongz mouth!! One of the eyes are partially hidden, near the tip of Marpigz thumb. And, as every1 noes, sotong, like thier cuttlefish cousins, have the ability to camouflage themselves by changing the colours of their skins. Marpig saw the split-sec change although the pics cant really show tt. But the pic shows the size of the sotong!! Itz really big by normal stds!!

Anyw, after tt sotong episode, fren treated Marpig to nice xxxciting 冰山榴莲!!
Although it looks 102% like "yat pak ye" (Cantonese) but itz really soft ice with durians and fruits!! VERY NICE!! Not very sweet which Marpig prefers!!

And finally, the HK trip comes to an end. Marpigz dad and Marpig had Popeye Chicken and Biscuits at the airport, taking pic with Marpigz fav character, Jack Skellington from NBC
Marpigz dad also bought Marpig 2 NBC cushions!!Actually, Marpig am so tempted to buy tt 1.3 m sized Jack but it costs 50 quid!! Nay, Marpigz sis will scream at Marpig plus, Marpig already spent 723 quid just for this HK trip which included Marpigz 大扫货 of 乱马 1/2 cartoon series DVDs (total 7 sets)!!

Just 2 more ths b4 Marpig ends this lengthy entry; Marpigz sis bought 2 McDull aprons for BIL and Marpig. Marpig choosed McMug 午餐肉!! *beaming*
The next th is tt Marpig confirms again tt her sense of craziness and humour are definitely inherited from Marpigz dad bcos she asked him,

钓虾 & Conquering TT Stretch of Road

Marpig isnt blogging the events when she was back strictly according to the seq; purely bcos she want to blog the simplest and fastest entries 1st!! Otherwise, she could spend a full dae to a few daes to plan and write an entry (bcos they are mostly travel "journals")!!

Right, 2nd oct, other than wat Marpig mentioned previously, shez gonna zoom in on 钓虾 with Beenie!! Been seeing it in TVBs and felt itz kinda cool. So 巧 Beenie made the suggestion and hence the 节目 was set!!

The price plans went like (correct Marpig if shez wrong), 1 rod for 1 hour = 10 dolla, 2 hours = 20 dolla and 3 hours for 30 dolla. Beenie and Marpig took a rod for 3 hours since itz their 1st time prawn fishing and who noes wat would happen!!

PS gave Marpig a lift to the venue and as Marpig was early, she observed the pros getting on with their poles and it wasnt too diffcult really, just get sm bait onto the hook and wait for 愿者上钩!!1st step, lower the net to keep the catch... And no, in case u shared Marpigz thought, one cant use a net to scoop the prawnies although itz tempting!! Next, putting the bait onto the hook with skill :P Itz chicken heart, those bait tt were given free. The place do sell live earthworms but erm... itz not the costs Beenie and Marpig am worried bout... itz the handling of LIVE EARTHWORMS!! *shudders* Worse... piercing the poor wormy on the hook!! *bengz*Then, with skill and composure, throw the bait into the pond. Did it many times perfectly but there was once Marpig (although pic showed Beenie, cos Marpig went to call for help!!) got a bit "over-the-top" and the hook was stuck on the roof!! :P hahahahahaha Otherwise, itz really waiting patiently for prawnie to 上钩!!And wala!! Prawnie!! It was sizable with teeny claws which needed to be severed b4 one unhook the prawnie
Ttz how Marpig got rid of the claws... by stepping on them and literally pull them out!! Yeah yeah itz kinda cruel but but but!! Wat to do?! One th Beenie did best (which Marpig didnt manage to do) was to grab the prawnie firmly to unhook it!! Oh boy!! Prawnies were jumping and twitching!! *faints*
And into the net was Beeniez and Marpigz 1st catch!! In total, they caught a RECORD of 6 prawnies in 2 hours...

4th Oct

1 th Marpigz must do (again) is to conquer TT stretch of road. Which stretch u asked? Apparently only Dingko and PS noe which road Marpig am talking bout (maybe Beenie too?) Reason being therez not a lot of frens whose as crazy as Marpig who would cycle kilometers just for the sake of cycling :P

Anyw, TT stretch of road is the PCN aka Park Connector Network and more actually... starting from ECP all da way to Changi Village via the coast. Think itz bout... 20 odd km in total? Itz not a prob for Dingko and Marpig (right?!) but the dae both of them & Bro Yiz did it was too rushed as they started late (cos Marpig was late) and had to meet frens for seafd galore 2 hours later!! So itz really bia all da way, to and fro!!
The madness trio raced passed ECP, passed the aeroplanesz runways, passed the control tower and reached Changi Beach. At tt point in time, itz already like 30mins to the time for meeting up with frens for dinner!! Although the venue was in ECP, it still takes time to bia all the way back!!
Looking at the last bit o road from Changi Beach to Changi Village... Marpig could only make a painful decision; need to conquer TT stretch of road AGAIN bcos she didnt really FULLY accomplished it!! Darn!! Oh, another crazy th Marpig did in her euphoria cycling state was tt she tried to chase aeroplanes :P
Heading back to ECP to meet up with frens for seafd galore, there werent much really. Therez only chilli crabs with deep fried buns, coffee ribs, noodles with dried scalllops, kang kong (almost finished as seen in photo) and 铁板豆腐!! And therez 7 pple!! BTW, Marpig had a pint of Tiger beer and itz tasted great after a workout!! :D

爱心午餐 & More on 30th Sept and 1st Oct

30th Sept

As it was, Marpig was curious bout PSz culinary skills but after having her pasta with rocket leaves and a tinge of secret thingy, Marpig am impressed!! *winked*Guess sm credits should also go to the photographer who gave the food an additional delicious touch :P

The night ended ard 3+am with Mimi Tz hen night... *konked out*

1st Oct

As mentioned, Marpig went back to NUS with Beenie for lunch and lectures!! Had 1st lunch at the Engin canteen. Itz still pretty much the same, just with many new food stalls; jap, BBQ, 肉搓面, etc. However, Marpig still went for the all time fav 酿豆腐 (the aunty is actually smilin and so much more frenly!! wat happened?! :P) while Beenie also went for the faymoss chicken chop!! They also had the 50 cents (was it? cant rem) teh!! Still the same old manner to fill the cup; via an isolation valve!! After which, itz lecture time!!

The 1st lecture which Beenie and Marpig sat in was programming. Reason why Marpig knew was bcos itz so much like Fortran!! OMG *faints* So reminded Marpig of tt 1 yr in KCL when she would stayed up late into the night to write the algorithms!! *bengz* Anyw, the lecture was ending so itz a relief :P

Next, Beenie and Marpig were walking ard engine, in search of bigger lecture halls to sit it :P Finally, they went into the ever-so-熟悉 audi!!
The lecture was into the 2nd half and oh my!! Nowsadae, students are sooooo rich!! Every1 has a lappy!! But really... does 1 need a lappy while attending lectures?! So disrespectful and yayapapaya (Marpigz personal opinion)!! Plus, Marpig noticed all of them still had print-outs of notes and the lappies were more like distraction cos most of them were chatting, surfing, playing games... duh. Oh well, Beenie and Marpig (and specially Marpig) were being cheeky :P No notes, no pens just "搞搞震" (cantonese) :D *grins*
Poser!! :P How can Marpig miss this opportunity?! Gosh... is it smth one would do only after graduating?! hahahahaha

Next, Beenie and Marpig walked 2wrds arts and had a 2nd lunch at the arts canteen!! However, therez no more "heaven, earth and hell" Itz totally revamped and very much like SIM canteen hmmm Marpig had her fav and cheap (1.20 only!!) LONTONG!!
Yum yum yum!! As for Beenie, she had 肉搓面. They also shared 10 北京饺子!! Erm... but therez lotsa 肥肉 inside... yucks!!

Anyw, after double whammy in NUS, Marpig 赶下一场 which was to have dinner (so fast?!) with family and relatives at Pan Pac!!

In Marpigz 记忆, she had been up to Pan Pac once, with Marpigz mom and others... maybe she was too young to even rem clearly but Marpig always wanted to go again... Anyw, JM did mention to Marpig bout 海天楼 atop Pan Pac and since Marpigz sis tasked Marpig to find a place for this 家族 dinner, Marpig just go for it, without any idea of the price :P

Gosh!! Itz REALLY DELICIOUS!! Dont mind going again next time although the price was hefty!! But 10 pax can share!! Herez wat the dinner consisted of!!Marpig didnt noe the price until Marpigz went to the loo with Marpigz sis!! hahahahaha Wanted to share the cost with her but in the end, Marpigz sis was the 大老板!! (really, 有个姐姐真好!!) :P

With such an xpensive dinner, even the fruit basket was 超夸张!!
The view from the top (37th storey) was also nice (Equinox is a-ok too but Marpig prefers Pan Pac)Hopefully Marpig could go on the BIG bicycle wheel one of these daes...
Therez also the unique interior which remains the same all these yrs...

And with tt, ends wat Marpig did on 30th and 1st. Shall continue onto prawn fishing and conquering TT stretch of road!!

Been There, Done Those and Back

Gosh, time flies when one is enjoying. How very true!! Marpig had just made the trip home and back in 2 wks' time and it just didnt feel like she had a 2 wks' hol!! She went to the office on monday and itz kinda like yesterdae when shez preparing to go on hol... ho hum. Now, shez down with v bad cough and cold... oh well

Anyw, shez supposed to crack on with her Xmas in Korea almost a yr ago (OMG!! How come time just whizzes by?!) but guess she will blog bout her return this time whilst the memories are fresh

B4 she goes into the nitty gritty details, herez a summary of her 2 wks' back home:

25th Sept
Took a 12+ hours flight the day b4 with Marpigz sis and gobbled lotsa ths and giggled on the plane. TD in the evening, had dinner with Marpigz dad and sis. Went out for a cuppa with Balachan, PS and Marcie and laughed quite a bit. Was so hot tt Marpigz face was as red as though she was drunk. Brought with her tt HUGE present for JM and passed it to her in the middle of the night with Marciez accompany

26th Sept
Woke up early like 5am to go jogging with Marpigz dad and sis, had bf too b4 Marpigz dad went to work. Took overnight coach in the evening after dinner to Redang with Dingko for a rendezvous time with the sea, the sun and the sandy beach!!

27th - 29th Sept
In Redang, got stung by fire corals and got burnt. Back late night on 29th Sept

30th Sept
Balachanz bdae but shez down with a bad cold. Wanted to give her a surprise but PS had already prepared *爱心午餐 (pasta), *camomile and lavender tea (was it?) and a handmade bdae present for her. So the abs 孩子气 Marpig decided to have some of the pasta and to visit Balachan with PS, along with a slice of choc tiramisu cake and 2 big candles :P. It was also Mimi Tz hen night at Cineleisure. Ended ard 3+am

1st Oct
Supposed to conquer TT road with PS but shez not as crazy as Marpig so Marpig woke up early to have bf with Marpigz dad and sis (no jogging cos really buay dong liao) Then went to Queensway with sis cos she wanna engrave sm pens. After which, went to meet Beenie in the aftern to "perform" our stint at NUS; going ard the campus, had lunch in Engin canteen, sat in lectures with no notes and watever whilst being cheeky, had 2nd lunch in the arts canteen. Then, went home to change and 赶下一场 which was to have abs 102% scrumptious dinner with family and relatives at 海天楼 at Pan Pac

2nd Oct
Promised and wanted to pay respect to PSz dad so took a teksi to her place. Teksi driver was puzzled as Marpig hopped onto her car immediately after alighting his teksi... Had a short spin (Marpig just so lurves spinning!!) and reached YCK. After which, PSz mom treat Marpig to her fav nasi lemak. Had a bit o rest and went to meet Beenie for 钓虾 at Sin Ming Ave in the aftern. Caught 6 prawnies in 2 hours, thank u v much but it was so fun!! Marpig am hooked!! :D Then, 赶下一场 which was to meet Sansao, XT and MW for dinner and annual German Bridge. Had lotsa laughs as usual *smiles*. Then, still got another 场 to 赶. So Marpig went home, pack abit of ths and went to Marciez place to prepare thingy for Mimi Tz wedding the next dae. Prepared tee shirts and made 汤圆 filled with wasabi and chilli padi (辣), lime (酸), brown sugar (甜) in chinese herbal tea (苦) ended bout 330am

3rd Oct
Woke up an hour later in a complete daze mode. Whole day event for Mimi Tz wonderful wedding (ttz the reason why Marpig was back in the 1st place!!) :D

(Was abs tired for the past 1 wk tt Marpig misses her bed and bolster at home NOW... should have spent more time just sleeping at home and hugging bolster... :( )

4th Oct
Woke up early to go Toa Payoh to meet XT for sm fantastic arcade gaming!! So many new games!! Oh boy!! Must play again umk XT?! :D Then, walked to MWz place to discuss bout her wedding in Dec!! So fun!! Got to noe a few new frens whose as easy going and crappy as Marpig :D Had very nice homecooked lunch at MWz place, courtesy of her 伟大的妈妈!! OOOO!! She cooked Marpigz fav 臭豆!! *太感动了*!! Then, 赶场 to ECP to meet Bro Yiz and Dingko to conquer TT road!! Marpig am so happy to cycle TT road!! Started at bout 545pm and 冲 all da way to and fro!! eh... although Marpig and gang cycled past ECP, past the runways and control tower until Changi Beach... still... Marpig didnt really conquer TT road bcos think it should end at Changi Village, not Changi Beach... so... Dingko, we'll have another go at it umk?!?!?!?!?!?!?! Please!!!!!!! As for PS... not sure if she will read this but *whispers* Marpig doubts if PS can ever make it considering the length!! Ended with seafd dinner with Cambo frens!! :D__

5th Oct
Took morning flight to HK with Marpigz dad to meet up with Marpigz sis, her MIL and FIL. Arrived in the aftern. Had dim sum for lunch, shopped ard and itz dinner time b4 Marpig had fully digested wat she had eaten. Met up with Gem and invited her to join the big party of pple for dinner tog

6th - 8th Oct
In HK. 6th Oct Marpig finally made it to Aberdeen aka 香港仔 and 浅水湾 in HK!! Had 102% scrumptious seafd buffet at Conrad!! OH BOY!! Marpig lurves her cholesterol!! 7th Oct met up with Gem in 西贡 for more seafd and catch up!!

8th Oct
Back in Singapore in the evening. Immediately went for a haircut whilst Marpigz dad went to the airport again to fetch Marpigz sis. Had late dinner with them b4 sleeping...

9th Oct
Last dae to do any serious stuff. Woke up early and went to change lollies with sis. Went bank. Went NTUC in Bras Basar. Went Bugis Junction to get her stack of comics @ Kino, bought a Swatch watch. Met up with PS for the final time until next they meet again (thought so at 1st) Went to Far East to buy miniature toys!! Went to lovely Keppel Bay (will go again at night!!) Had dinner with Marpigz dad and sis and aunty. After tt, rushed off to meet JC classmates for 10th Anniversary. Had a great time, thanks to Wendy!! Also played the hilarious hunter and bear game!! Woohoo!! Totally in a a zombie state and having a terrible headache from lack of sleep for 2 weeks...

10th Oct
Dad wasnt gonna send Marpig and sis to airport cos he had to work, so very early in the morn, b4 he went to work, he came into Marpigz room, gave Marpig a hug and a kiss on the forehead, bidding Marpig bon vovage... feeling was so sad and happy... reminded Marpig of Marpigz momz kisses on the foreheads... ... ... ... seriously, we need more hugs and kisses!! Immediately woke up and had bf with Marpigz dad and sis for the final time until Dec. Waited for PS and her mom to give us a lift to the airport. So very kind and 够朋友 of PS, as usual *smiles* Had Yat Kun and Marpig was so stuffed with food and emotions she could barely breathe... oh well... Once in the transit area, Marpigz sis gave Marpigz dad a ring on the free phone and she cried while saying byebye to him... although Marpig is the younger one, normally she appears much stronger and boh chap in front of Marpigz dad and sis... guess this is the 心态 of younger sis or bro who wanted to protect their family and siblings 吧...

Oh, Marpig only visited Marpigz mom once, alone on one of the days... cant rem when but did sat down and chatted to her as usual... a short one and Marpig didnt tear this time... 8 yrs had gone by just like tt...

With tt, is the summary of the short 2 weeks tt just flown by... sigh... many ths happened over the years and Marpig am thinking of home more and more now... maybe... maybe... itz about time... Still, Marpig need to get CEng!! Kao. Plus... Marpig realised, she is too wols for the life in Singapore liao!! Lest HK!! OMG

Taking Foldie on a Spin!!

A quick entry (hopefully!!) Marpig got her new toy back in July and named her Foldie. Other than bringing her out for the teamz cycling trip from (mid-way) Bristol to (almost) Bath, a total of bout 26 miles (42 km), Marpig hasnt gone out with Foldie!!

Right, feeling tt she must try to get rid of her pork belly and to get sm xercise, Marpig agreed to take on the Bristol to Bath Railway Cycle path with colleague (the one Marpig smashed her oven and got skin allergy by sleeping in her sleeping bag and carpet bedroom floor)!!

As she so loved the feeling of 自由自在地 cycle, she just agreed to the suggestion and went, totally did not train or do any warm ups!! Just up and go!!

Well, Marpig so believe in colleague tt she didnt bother with route finding; she just leave it to colleague and follow!! They did get lost but luckily still manage to get onto the railway path

Ah~~ she enjoyed the breeze, the forest and the sunlight tt shines thru the leaves tt she didnt take alot of pics along the way!! But the railway path (itz not in use anym, only for pedestrians and cyclists) is pretty much like those tt Marpig had littered on the bloggie; 2 sides of tall trees and a long seemingly endless path (notice the path on the right)...A stone statue with Foldie resting bside it!!

Coming to a clearing, one would see the fields full of cows. Moo moo moo~~So how does the path looks like? Well, lotsa pple and families are cycling, walking, etc much like ECP and ABC :PAbove is the Bristol and Bath railway path!!

Anyw, Marpig said itz gonna be a short entry, so herez sm final bits of info!!

The entire trip took 8 hrs (including the time spent sipping tea and cakes mid-way and a bit o walking ard Bath and knowing a new fren out of the blue!!) and Marpig did 42 miles = approx. 67km!! How far is tt u asked? All right, with tt distance, Marpig could cycle the entire length of Singapore (most eastern point to most western point) TWICE!! *faints*

No wonder on the way back Marpigz knees xperienced a sharp pain like her knees are breaking!! GOSH!! Talking bout the mind is willing but the body is weak!! This IS IT!! And of cos, itz mind over body!! :D

Anyw, by the time Marpig reached the city centre, she was so knuckled tt she simply folded Foldie and hopped onto a bus to get home!! (Cosy Barn 3 is north of city centre which is another 7 km)!! hahahahahaha

Praha Final Day!!

To give u an idea of how overdued these Praha trip entries are, Marpig went to Praha last yr August!! *faints* NVM. Am catching up!! This is the final BORING entry for Prague b4 Marpig move onto xxxciting Xmas in South Korea!! All-In!! Full House!! Tree of Heaven!! Winter Sonata (Marpig didnt watch Winter Sonata wor)

Right, bf again b4 setting out for the last dae in Prague and b4 Marpig hop onto the plane home in the late afternTherez nth much left to see since Marpig and fren had finished most (if not all) the sightseeing in Prague for a tourist. The last dae saw Marpig visiting the places she had been to, in order to take pics of them in broad daylight as opposed to the night pics. Oh yes, the only place which Marpig had not been to nor taken pics of were the crawling babies up the Žižkov Television Tower!! But 1st, letz make it to the Prague Clock Tower to see the hourly clockwork display of "The Walk of the Apostles"Wow!! Wat a quiet Old Town Sq. Guess itz bcos of the drizzle/light rain...!! No!! So all the pple were gathered in front of the Astronomical Clock in order to watch the hourly show!! Duh!!

After the clockwork display (Marpig did a recording, share with u when she is back), Marpig and fren just pop ard the corner to a local flea market where pple display and sell their wares
Nth too xciting... lotsa souvenirs such as small puppets, stones of all sorts, choc, waffles, etc... anyth which 1 can buy anyw else. Maybe not sm of the authentic Czech thingy but Marpig just cant rem... (itz been more than a yr!!)

Next is visiting Wenceslas Sq again with itz 2 faymoss landmarksand a plaque for a 20-year old philosophy student, Jan Palach. Why? Facts said tt he set fire to himself in protest against the Soviet invasion in Prague. The bronze x shown in pic above was then put at the place where he fell which is near the statue of St. Wenceslas

As Marpig was bent on taking a pic of the Dancing House in the day, Marpig and fren took a major detour to downtown Prague where the House stood. Xamining the House closer, Marpig saw this permanent notice at the entrance:So, no visits are allowed!! Ho-hum.Marpig shall fulfil her purpose anyw!! A pic of the Dancing House in the day!!

Finally!! (Told u this entry is boring lor) Marpig and fren 爬山涉水, up another hill just to take the crawling babies!! Eh... Marpig must confess... they were actually lost. Couldnt find the way to the Žižkov Television Tower (map is misleading!!) In the end, with little time left b4 catching the Prague metro to the airport, Marpig and fren thought they could see the crawling babies from atop the hill they were onBut HEU!! The weather was CRAP!! Otherwise, Marpig would definitely be able to see the crawling babies!! *faints* 搞什么!! 真是的!!
