Erm, this is a "spoiler". Well, basically, there is foreign foods in Munich, but not alot. In fact, the one th Marpig found is tt pple are generally snobbish (maybe they dont mean it) but they are definitely NOT frenly to non-Germans. Well, they don do nth to u (precisely) unlike the Brits who at least smile even though they (might) not like u.Now, in chronological order (not all food are taken, though, smtimes Marpig just dig in w/o hesitation!!)
The moment Marpig TD in Munich in the evening, Marpig immediately "ordered" Marpigz fren to bring Marpig to savour pork knuckle & sausages!! So, the 1st dinner was pork knuckle & Russ'n (xplain the types of beers later)Wah, the knuckle is full of meat, the skin is so crispy, it felt as though one is eating chrisps!! U all noe how Marpig loathe eating fats but wow!! Marpig ate the entire skin!! *munch munch munch* & the "potato balls" so sticky but nice!! Cut them & soak them with the outer skin facing outwards and with thick gravy... *slurp*!!
Next day, Marpig & fren went to Viktualienmarkt & the 1st th Marpig grab was the sausage!! It SUPER long!! Bout an armz length!! AND the BEST th is, every bite is full of succulent juicy juice!! *psst psst psst*!! Even *psst* unto Marpigz fren!! :D_
Marpigz fren got himself (not D***k) curry sausages!! Basically, itz another type of sausage with curry powder. Not the type of curry we xpect but still very nice!!
Next, walking with sausage & bread in harmony in Marpigz tummy, Marpig & fren wondered to the beer garden in Chinesischer Turm (Chinese Tower) @ Englischer Garten (English Garden) for 1L beer & mega-sized pretzel!! Wanted to get pork knuckle to go with beer but Marpigz fren managed to talk Marpig out of it!! If Ding were with Marpig... wow!! Those will be on the dining table!!
Did not manage to fin any of those. The pretzel is normal bread (but with less yeast. Germansz breads are often more filling with less yeast) the little white thingy on the pretzel is salt/msg Marpig guess...The beer, well, the most Marpig could fin is 0.7L in stead of 1L. Marpigz ears went red, together with face & etc. Marpig also started to talk all sorts thus, Marpigz fren, being the sober one, enjoyed himself by looking @ how Marpig transformed under the influence of the beer and managed to fin the rest of it. :P
Having continued the sightseeing tour, Marpig came across the train station & saw diff pretzel. This time, with cheese!! *yum yum yum*!! So, Marpig bought herself a huge-sized cheese pretzel tt is soooo oily, every1 will scream!! (But Marpig don care!!)
Think the days past with Marpig eating loads but cant rem. The (next) nightz dinner is with Marpigz fren & frenz fren with pork knuckles, roast duck & chicken, sausages (mixed grill), potatoes and meatloaf!! Kao. So tasty!! *DROOLS*
But the meatloaf wasnt fantastic. It tastes like... luncheon meat. Wonder why itzcalled meatloaf. Hmmm...
The next morning b4 Marpig take the train to Burghausen to meet MW, Marpig once again "ordered" Marpigz fren to bring her to have sm traditional German bf. So, it was a fun xperience!! Not very tasty experience since the cold dish (sliced cheese, onions, sausages) werent fantastica. Marpig don fancy bread (have too much of them b4, therefore, am scared of them now). The mustard is sweet as opposed to hot, so, not to Marpigz liking as well.The weiss wurst (literally, "white sausage") is not fantastica too but they are fun!! Cos therez a way to eat them!!
Apparently, the skin of the weiss wurst is very diff to digest, therefore, normally pple peel them off b4 eating the sausages. The way to do tt is to, cut the sausage into 1/2, then using the knife and fork, peel the skin off, with style please :D OR, as Marpigz fren said, one can also use the hand and squeeze the sausage out of the skin from one end, which Marpig tried. Correct. It failed. Reason being the chef did not cook the sausage to the right texture. :P Anyhow, Marpig still fin the food!!
Heu, tt bf wasnt filling, so, gluttony Marpig went back to Viktualienmarkt to get tt SUPER long hotdog!! :D_
Then, off to Burghausen Marpig went, to meet MW. Itz a small town which has the longest castle complex in Europe and a bridge link it to Austria!! Anyway, Marpig reached Burghuasen & met up with MW and off to dinner we went!! :D_
As all of u noticed, Marpig am so hungry & xxxcited (ttz itz meal time again!!) tt Marpig & fren ate b4 Marpig took pictures!! So, therez already sm bits bitten off the food... :D_ The meal was a treat to Marpig from MW but Marpig ordered the pork knuckle (again!!) & sausages (this time with Marpigz fav, sauerkraut!!) cos MW didnt manage to taste them when she went over to Munich then (wat a shame!!)

But this salmon with spinach pizza was ordered by MW just in case she doesnt like the knuckle & sausages (which she does!! But not the sauerkraut though...)
Next morning, while MW went to work, Marpig embarked (likes this word) on touring the 1000km long castle complex up the hills of Burghausen. It was a nice long morning walk & depending on wat personality u r, the walk can be interesting (for Marpig) or boring (for MW). Pictures of the castle, later later!! The story goes tt MW told Marpig could have free buffet bf in the hotel. But Marpig didnt take it. Why? Not impt. Impt thingy is, Marpig walked a long way & picture taking ard the castle, starting @ bout 8+am. By 10+am, Marpig felt happy & hungry... SO!! Marpig sat down on the only cafe/restaurant in the castle & decided to have a lomantic bf on the picturesque scenary, watever the cost. And, this is wat Marpig had:
Marpig tot she only pointed to a Euro 6.50 bf but 2 waiters came serving all these food on the table (made Marpig shou4 chong3 ruo4 jing1) majiam like waited upon like a princess!! hahhahahahahaha!! Anyway, Marpig fin ALL but not the fruit salad!!
However, there was a little twist to the lomantic feeling. Cos, while Marpig am eating bf al fresco style, flies came (cos itz summer) Very irritating. So, not wanting to swap Marpigz bf on the floor with the flies, Marpig decided to move into the cafe with the help of a waitress. But, there was this fly tt was determined to get some bf too. So, Marpig left a pcs of ham for it. Now, imagine, Marpig & fly were in harmony, happily eating our bf. :D_
At night, Marpig went for sm dinner but cant rem (think itz the food) but strangely enough, Marpig am not feeling full!! So, MW suggested cooking noodles in a kettle & wala!! Was quite nice!! 1st, boil the water in the kettle, then add in the noddles & seasoning. Boil again (2nd boil, wont take long) & itz ready to eat!! Of cos, Marpig pour them out onto a boil lah, or else, how to eat from the kettle!! Aiyo!!
Next day, Marpig & MW with MWz frens drove to Salzburg in Austria (45mins drive only) to sightsee (But Marpig will go again cos MWz frens CMI!! Walk abit & complain too hot, too tired...) Marpig cant help but take pictures of food again!!

While all of us were on the fortress on top of Salzburg (no idea wat itz called), Marpig once again ordered smth to eatwhile the rest were konked out, drinking flavoured fizzy drinks.
Yup, itz sausages & sauerkraut!! Cos diff places will have diff ways of doing it & diff taste & feel...
This time, a bonus!! A cheese sausage tt Marpigz fren in Munich told Marpig bout!!
Mustard. Yeah, it looked like poo but doesnt matter, Marpig am never affected by such ths on the dining table, no.
TT rounds up the Burghausen trip FOODs. The last day in Munich, Marpig treated fren to spagetti!! Marpig seldom like spagetti cos Marpig can cook as well & not alot of places sell really nice spagetti but this one does!!

Bout Russ'n. Erm, Marpig like Russ'n = 1/2 lemonade, 1/2 beer. Therez another type which is like shandy ttz 1/2 filtered beer, 1/2 lemonade. Marpig prefer the former.

One of the stalls sells xotic asian fruits... Marpig don really think itz xotic... since itz so common back @ home but itz really rare to see durians in the UK and even more so in Germany!! *WOW!!*

Itz not too difficult to spot which flight Marpig am going & most importantly (or surprisingly), how EARLY Marpig am... 
Quite scared of taking planes of other airlines xpect SQ... then again... Lufthansa is a member of Star Alliance... so... shouldnt be too bad right? Though the weather in LHR adds to the shaky confidence...
